When the Tartan Army arrived in Rhode Island, they brought incredible energy, unforgettable memories, and a generosity that touched our entire community.

Scottish supporters donated thousands of dollars to local organizations during their stay, leaving a lasting impact that will be felt long after the tournament moves on. ⚽️

To say thank you, GoProvidence and the Rhode Island Sports Commission are proud to make a $5,000 donation to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. In addition, local bars, restaurants, hospitality partners, and supporters have contributed more than $5,500 toward the effort, bringing the total to more than $10,500 and growing.

A special thank you to @hotclubprovidence, @provgpub, @murphyspvd, @rollers_pvd, @guildri, @guildpvd,@track15ri, and @trinitybrewhouse for helping support this effort. 💙

This has never just been about soccer. It’s been about friendship, community, and the connections that happen when people from around the world come together.

As part of our Summer of Celebration, the City of Pawtucket was proud to partner with the University of Rhode Island to host a free soccer clinic for local youth, bringing together children from across our community, including participants from the YMCA and the Boys & Girls Club. Participants had the opportunity to learn from URI student-athletes and coaches while building their soccer skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.

A heartfelt thank you to the @universityofri, @uri_msoccer, its student-athletes and coaches, @pawtucketsoccer and everyone who helped make this special day possible. By investing in opportunities like these, we’re helping inspire the next generation, strengthen community connections, and create unforgettable experiences for Pawtucket’s young people.

Como parte de nuestro Verano de Celebración, la Ciudad de Pawtucket tuvo el orgullo de colaborar con la Universidad de Rhode Island para ofrecer una clínica gratuita de fútbol para los jóvenes de nuestra comunidad, reuniendo a niños de toda la ciudad, incluidos participantes de la YMCA y del Boys & Girls Club. ⚽️🏆 As #CFUnitedThroughSoccer comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude for the incredible memories our community created together.

Over the past several weeks, the City of Central Falls United Through Soccer activities became about so much more than soccer. We watched neighbors become friends, families gather across generations, and people from all backgrounds and cultures celebrate side by side. Different flags filled the crowd, but Central Falls came together as one community. ❤️

These moments would not have been possible without everyone who helped bring them to life. A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, the Central Falls Department of Public Works, Police Department, Fire Department, Parks & Recreation, and all of our City staff who worked behind the scenes to make each event safe, welcoming, and memorable. 🙏🏼

And most importantly, thank you to our community! Whether you joined us to cheer for your home country, celebrate your culture, support your neighbors, or simply enjoy the excitement, you helped make this historic summer truly special.

Yesterday, we wrapped up our final Summer of Soccer Watch Party Celebration!

Over the last 39 days, our community came together in the heart of the city to celebrate the beautiful game and the many cultures, traditions, and stories that make Pawtucket so special. From Team USA’s home opener to celebrations of Cabo Verde, Colombia, Portugal, Argentina, Ghana, and the tournament final, these watch parties became more than just soccer; they became a reminder of what makes our city so unique.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our entertainers, vendors, sponsors, community partners, and the dedicated City team who helped make it all possible. Seeing neighbors from every corner of our community come together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories is what the Summer of Soccer was all about. From every corner, one goal. ❤️⚽️

Ayer celebramos nuestra última Fiesta de Verano de Fútbol!

Durante los últimos 39 días, nuestra comunidad se reunió en el corazón de la Ciudad para celebrar el deporte de fútbol y las numerosas culturas, tradiciones e historias que hacen de Pawtucket un lugar tan especial. Desde el partido inaugural de la selección de Estados Unidos, hasta las celebraciones de Cabo Verde, Colombia, Portugal, Argentina, Ghana y la gran final del torneo, estas celebraciones fueron mucho más que ver fútbol; fueron un recordatorio de lo que hace que nuestra ciudad sea verdaderamente única.
