Lights, lasers, projections, and a whole lot of visual magic. We’re taking you inside the visual world of Making Time ∞.

At the end of September, Fort Mifflin transformed into an otherworldly playground for @makingtimeisrad. The @klipcollective is the Philly-based visual production team turning historic walls, winding paths, and even a giant, curved structure nicknamed “The Pringle” into immersive works of art. Led by founder Ricardo Rivera (pictured in photo 1), Klip Collective brings together projection mapping, mind-bending visuals, and lighting that moves with the music across six stages. From lasers stretching over the moat to psychedelic projections dancing across the Citadel, every detail helps create the festival’s one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

Go behind the scenes to discover the creative vision, technical wizardry, and dedicated crew bringing Making Time’s visual world to life at XPN.org!

Meet @homies.helping.homies, where music and community meet mutual aid!

The West Philly/Point Breeze collective is fusing mutual aid and volunteering with music and creativity — and learn about how you can chip in during this season of giving! Founded by Kevin Bass and fellow organizers in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Homies Helping Homies emerged in response to urgent gaps in local food access. What started as a one-off effort quickly grew into something more permanent.

On a Friday evening in West Philly, HHH Radio goes live. Broadcasting on WPEB 88.1 FM, the biweekly show features local DJs and artists sharing music rooted in the city’s DIY ecosystem. It feels casual and familiar — friends sharing music over the air — but the show is part of something much larger. While the radio show platforms local artists and builds connections through music, the heart of Homies Helping Homies lies off-air: distributing food and essential goods, hosting community cleanups, and creating accessible spaces for art and gathering. Together, the two arms reflect a shared belief that community care doesn’t have to be formal or complicated to be effective. Learn more about the broadcast and HHH community efforts at the link in bio or at XPN.org!
