😂 MY BRAIN HAS A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT! 🤣

Listen… WHO told my brain it was the supervisor?! Because I KNOW I didn't approve all this overtime! 😭🤣

Son's football practice. Kids' doctor appointments. Groceries. Work at 10.

AND I'M JUST TRYNA SIT MY BUTT DOWN IN PEACE! 😂😂

My brain got more open cases than the damn FBI! 🤣 Every time I try to relax, here it comes reopening some mess I wasn't even thinking about! 😭😂

Baby, the body is on the couch, but the brain is in a STAFF MEETING! And apparently, I'm the only employee. 😩🤣

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS CLOSED! The manager is tired, the staff is overwhelmed, and ain't nobody answering no more calls! 😂✌🏽

On my day off, 8 hours disappear in what feels like 20 minutes. 😂

But at work? I check the clock, and somehow it's STILL the same minute! 😭🤣

I blink on my day off, and it's bedtime. At work, I'm counting minutes like they're on my paycheck! 😂

😂😂 CNA SISTERS, Y’ALL KNOW WE DON’T GET PAID ENOUGH TO BE THIS EXHAUSTED! 😭🤣

🌹 EAT. SLEEP. WORK. REPEAT.

Baby, after answering call lights, changing briefs, boosting residents, making beds, passing ice water, and hearing “NURSE!” every five minutes when you’re NOT EVEN THE NURSE… I'M DONE! 😂😂

And don't let somebody hit that call light right when you finally sit down to chart! 😩🤣 BABY, I JUST SAT DOWN!

By the time I clock out, my feet are filing a complaint, my back wants a vacation, and my social battery is on 1%. 😂

I'm going home, eating my food, putting on my pajamas, and minding my business. If it ain't a paycheck or an emergency, I'll see y'all when I wake up! 😂💤

💔 Losing a Husband

Nobody prepares you for losing the man you thought you'd grow old with.

Our marriage was never perfect, but it was ours. We had our struggles, our disagreements, our laughter, and our memories. He wasn't just my husband. He was my best friend, my person, and the man I chose to share my life with.

It's been 3 years since I lost him, yet I still carry that moment with me every single day.

Life will never be the same. I see differently. I breathe differently. My heart beats differently. I trust differently, and I look at life through different eyes. Losing him changed the woman I am today.

Sometimes, I'd give anything for one more hug, one more conversation, or just one more ordinary day with my best friend.

Our marriage wasn't a fairy tale, but it was real. It wasn't perfect, but it was ours. And if I could go back and live it all again, knowing how our story would end, I'd still choose him.

I don't want his story remembered only by how it ended. I want to remember the love we shared, the memories we created, and the life we built together.

His life mattered. Our love mattered. And his memory will always have a home in my heart. ❤️

It's absolutely beautiful if you have a significant other who loves you, respects you, supports you, and brings happiness into your life. ❤️ There's nothing wrong with having somebody special to share life with!

BUT TO US SINGLE PEOPLE? SINGLE IS THE NEW NORMAL! 😂🙌🏽👑

We're protecting our peace, focusing on our children, chasing our goals, building our businesses, and learning to enjoy life on our own terms. 💰✨

No relationship drama. No forcing connections. No settling just because everybody else has somebody!

A TIRED WOMAN WITH BIG PLANS. ❤️

Some days, getting out of bed is the first thing you accomplish. 😂

Then come the responsibilities, the bills, the work, the people counting on you, and those dreams you're determined not to give up on.

You can be exhausted and still be ambitious. You can need rest and still want more out of life.

And just because you're handling everything doesn't mean you don't need somebody to check on YOU, too.

We're not robots. We're people with feelings, responsibilities, and dreams of our own.

🌹 I DON’T NEED A PERFECT LIFE. I NEED PEACE. ❤️

I’ve learned that life doesn’t have to look good to everybody else for me to be grateful for what I have.

I work hard. I handle my responsibilities. I love my people, thank God for another day, laugh when I can, and rest when I need to.

Some days are harder than others, but I’m still here, still growing, and still choosing to move forward. 🙏🏽

I’m not chasing perfection. I’m protecting my peace, appreciating my blessings, and learning to enjoy the life I’m building.

Because at the end of the day, peace is priceless, gratitude is everything, and being yourself is enough. 🌹❤️

Sometimes you have to stop explaining yourself to people who are committed to misunderstanding you. Stop arguing with people who thrive on drama. Stop wasting your energy trying to make grown people see what they refuse to see.

Protect your peace like your life depends on it. 👑✨

Not everything deserves a response.
Not everyone deserves access.
And some lessons are best learned the hard way.
