Well, tomorrow is a pretty big day for me! 🎬❤️

I’ll be stepping onto a film set for the very first time to play Anna in the short film Jenny!

I’ve spent the last several months auditioning, doing self-tapes, taking classes, and trying to learn everything I can about acting. Now I finally get to experience what it’s like to actually be on set!

I’m excited, a little nervous, and honestly don’t know what to expect, but I’m looking forward to every minute of it!

It’s a small beginning, but it’s a big deal to me. ❤️ #beginnings #actorlife #onset #shortfilm by @ritagreshamofficial

🎬 ARKANSAS ACTORS & FILMMAKERS… WHERE ARE THE PRODUCTIONS?! 🎥

Serious question — where are all the TV shows, films, commercials, and larger productions filming in Arkansas? 🤔

Since starting my acting journey, one thing I’ve noticed is how often I have to look outside of Arkansas for opportunities — Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Oklahoma and beyond.

And it has me wondering… why not Arkansas?

We have talented actors. We have filmmakers. We have crew. We have incredible locations. We have creatives who WANT to work.

I would LOVE to see Arkansas become a place where more productions want to film and where Arkansas actors have more opportunities to build their careers right here at home. 🎬

So I want to hear from you:

🎭 Arkansas actors — are you finding enough opportunities here?

🎥 Filmmakers & crew — what do you think is holding Arkansas back?

📺 Casting professionals — what would help bring more productions and casting opportunities here?

And if you know of Arkansas filmmakers, casting companies, productions, or resources that actors should be following, DROP THEM BELOW! 👇

🎬 I’m also going to talk about this in an upcoming episode of my documented acting journey, because this has become a very real part of my experience pursuing acting from Arkansas.

I’d love to hear YOUR perspective before I film it. I may even discuss some of the responses and ideas the Arkansas film community shares.

Maybe the question isn’t just:

“Where are all the productions?”

Maybe it’s…

“What can WE do to help grow the film & television industry in Arkansas?” ❤️🎬

🎬 A little behind-the-scenes from my very first film!

What an amazing experience! I loved getting to work alongside such a wonderful cast and crew. Once the cameras started rolling, everything just felt so natural! ❤️

A huge thank you to Kay Edwards for giving me this opportunity!

One film down, and hopefully many more to come! 🎬❤️

And that’s a wrap! 🎬❤️

Spent my Sunday on set filming a short film, and what an experience it was! I had such a great time working with some wonderful people and bringing my character to life.

I’m so thankful for the opportunity and for everyone who made today such a great experience.

Another step in this acting journey, and I’m excited to see where it takes me! 🎥❤️ #actor #workingactor #shortfilms #onset by @ritagreshamofficial

A little behind-the-scenes from the acting journey 🎬
Between work, training, classes, and a whole stack of self-tape auditions this week, this is what “putting in the work” looks like. 😂

Still learning. Still growing. Still showing up. One audition at a time. 🎭✨
