I’m a working mom + wife, raising two kids and one very spoiled dog 🐶 while trying to make everyday life a little easier, prettier, and occasionally less chaotic. 😂

There’s something special about watching a space come together, little by little.

First the sofa, then the rug, the accent chairs, and now the olive tree that was just right for this little corner.

I wanted something slender enough to fit the space without overwhelming it, and I brought a planter in from outside to give it a little height and make it feel more intentional.

It’s a reminder that decorating isn’t always about buying more. Sometimes it’s about choosing pieces that work with your space, using what you already have in new ways, and giving yourself time to figure out what feels right.

One piece at a time, a room begins to feel like home. And I couldn’t be happier with how this little corner turned out.

I know it may feel early to be thinking about Christmas, but I truly believe starting early is one of the best ways to actually slow down and enjoy the season.

Getting your home ready for Christmas isn’t just about putting up the tree or wrapping presents. It’s about taking care of the little things ahead of time, cleaning, organizing, finishing projects, and making your home feel cozy and ready for the season ahead.

These curtains were one of those little things for us. And honestly, doing them early makes such a difference.

Because December already comes with enough to do. The more we can prepare ahead of time, the more we can slow down when the season actually arrives.

Starting early doesn’t make Christmas come faster. It gives us more time to enjoy it. 🤍

One month. 🤍

When my sister encouraged me to start this account back in September, I honestly had no idea what would come from it.

And now there are 400 of you here. 🥹

This month has been a busy one with work, being a mom, school starting, and everything going on at home, but somehow this little community has become such a special part of my days.

I’m so thankful to my sister for encouraging me to do this and for helping me. And I’m even more thankful for every single one of you who has followed along, left a kind comment, sent a message, or simply stopped by.

Sometimes you just have to start over.

And if you do, remember that you don’t have to figure it all out at once.

I’ve been slowly replacing pieces in my home with things I truly love, and this display shelf is still a work in progress. I’m taking my time, finding pieces that feel like me, and letting the space come together naturally.

Your home doesn’t have to be finished to be beautiful. Decorating is a process, and sometimes the most intentional spaces are created little by little.

So if you’re starting over too, give yourself permission to take your time. 🤍
