I've been seeing this trend everywhere and then @myneverafter and @magicalbookshelbs tagged me and I had to participate!
It took me way longer to do this than I hoped, partly because I couldn't cope with the empty spaces, but I tried to embrace the chaos! 🤭

Reusing one of my favourite photos from last year and showing off one of my favourite books!

I tagged some friends, but no pressure! And I'm sorry if you've done this already!

Happy reading!

Happy Halloween!! 🎃👻

It's been a cozy day at home. My baby girl is a bit sick, so it was a relaxing day, with witchy hats, drawings and the cozy haunting vibes 🍂 and trying to squeeze in a bit of reading!

I hope you're having an amazing day!

ACOTAR release day 🌟🌌

I'm very excited and also dreading this book! CC3 was a little disappointing, but I still have high hopes for this one. I've been rereading ACOTAR and I'm so happy to be in this world again. I just hope the next ones are just as good 🤞

**Are you already reading the new SJM book? I'm going to finish my current reads first, I just need to escape the spoilers! 🤭

P.S.: I finally got to show off the t-shirt my best friend gave me 🤍🤍 by @ritascrolls

Carissa Broadbent 🗡️⚡

Currently reading "Falling and the Kiss of Dusk"! And I'm so excited for this one! The edges are so pretty!

The first book I read from this author was "Daughter of No Worlds" 3 years ago and that trilogy still lives rent free in my mind. Tisaanah and Maxantarius continue to be one of my favourite couples 🦋

** Have you read anything by this author? If so, what's your favourite one? by @ritascrolls

September reads 🍃

So, September went by fast! And then we went on a big roadtrip in the beginning of October with our little girl and with a toddler there is no time to relax or post 🤭 New post with pics of the trip coming soon!

I started my ACOTAR reread and I missed this world! Currently reading ACOWAR!

My favourite book of September was definitely "Seek the Traitor's Son"! It's the perfect sci-fi fantasy book and I can't want to continue the story!

And if you want a good romantasy story, then read "The Hirathean Path"! It was so fun!

And am I finally reading "Six of Crows"?!? YES!!!

Also, the coziest season is here!

Happy Hobbit Day! 🌿🍂

Two posts in a week, who am I? 🤭 I haven't posted anything of Tolkien's world for a while, so I couldn't miss this chance!

So, here is a picture of my top books by Tolkien and my little hobbit's foot 🤍

Summer 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘴 🌤️

It's been a while! 😮 I haven't been here for more than a month, I guess I haven't really felt great about the space and life has been kind of chaotic (but good!). Swipe to see some pictures! Hopefully, I'll be more from now on! But I had to post my summer reads before autumn comes!

So, July was kind of heartbreaking in terms of books, but they were so good! August was nostalgic and I read beautiful books too.

**𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘯? I hope I finally read Six of Crows! And continue my ACOTAR reread journey 🤍

My favourites were:
- 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘴: beautiful and full of secrets
- 𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘏𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯: heartbreaking
- 𝘌𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘦'𝘴 𝘔𝘢𝘱 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴: cozy and mysterious
- 𝘙𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺: dark contemporary fantasy with gang wars
- 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘳: beautiful written and poetic

𝘉𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘏𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 was a rec from @mysecretbooklife and 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘳 from @kirs_papertravels. I can't thank you enough for the amazing reads!

Happy reading 🤍🤍 by @ritascrolls

𝘔𝘺 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦 🎨

To be honest, I only new my main star sign, so this was fun to find out! And apparently I'm all the colours 🤭

The Bordeaux I basically assumed it was red and apparently I haven't read a lot of pink books, so there's a lot of mixed colours!

𝘔𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 🎂

Today is my birthday! I usually don't celebrate, I just want some peace and quiet, but we had some plans today!

We went for a picnic in the morning, then lunch in front of the beach, then walk and relax at home, playing with my baby and watching Bluey! 🥰

If we're lucky and the baby sleeps, maybe a Pirates of the Caribbean rewatch will happen! 🤞

Hi loves!

It's not exactly the middle of the year, but having free time to think about posts has been difficult and I didn't really like this photo. Also, I'm kind of sleep deprived, so this was what I could do! 😅
This year has been so good to me in terms of reading! I've read so many great books!

**𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘢 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬? And/or your favourite R.F. Kuang book?

Honestly, I thought I was ready for this book, but I was clearly not.
The pace was a bit slow in the beginning and there was a lot of information, but I was quickly immersed in this world.
The story is so original and so close to reality at the same time, it was truly an ambitious idea that must've required a ton of research. R.F. Kuang is an incredible writer and I can't wait to read her other works!

Anyway, after finishing this book, I think I was a little angry. Not regarding the book of course, but how true its concept is. It was a painful window to what happened in the past and keeps happening.
Robin Swift's tale was a hard truth, an upsetting and brilliant story, completely heartbreaking.

It has dark academia (the setting is in Oxford), historical fiction, racism, sexism, colonialism and everything in between. And found family!

This is a must read! And buddy reading it with @abookwormreads_ made it even better!

June reads ☀️

June was another good month! I read 6 books! I'm really happy!

My favourite book was "These Immortal Truths", a rec from Joana, @proseandvinyl . I can't recommend it enough! It reminded me a bit of Addie LaRue, but I think I loved this one even more.

And "A Forbidden Alchemy" was very good too! I don't think I ever read a story with Peaky Blinders vibes, but I liked it! However, the voice of the MMC was not my favourite so that threw me off a bit!

"The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion" continues to be sweet and witty and I can't wait to continue!

"Glint" was better than the first one, so I'm excited for the others!

I finally read "Fireborne" and if you want dragons and political intrigue, then this one is for you!

As for July, I'm especially excited to read "Ballad of Falling Dragons" and I already read "Emily Wilde's" and loved it!

** Any favourites in these lists?
