To close out summer @beverlyhillsskincaremuse and I did one of our favorite things….jet skiing to Catalina and back. This trip was epic! Ocean conditions were insanely glassy, I actually maxed out my ski at 54mph on open ocean! 💨 Water temp was 73 degrees and super blue.

Yesterday we celebrated the 5th Birthday of our most special baby boy @agostinothecanecorso 🎂
Augie is THE sweetest boy there ever was! 🐻 We are blessed with the endless joy and love he brings to our family. Watching the brother bound he has with @walterwhiteisalowchen is the absolute best. 🤗

In December of 2024 we began a health journey with Augie that we never expected. After countless veterinary appointments and tests, we now have Augie diagnosed and in stable condition.

He was diagnosed last April with Sterile pyogranuloma syndrome (SPS) which means he will have to take steroids and immunotherapy drugs for the rest of his life. 😔

Thankful for his very skilled and thorough dermatologist who has the absolute best care plan for our boy. Augie has been through a lot and he’s scheduled for surgery in 10 days, but never once has he let his challenges bring him down.

On Sunday March 8th we said our forever goodbyes to little Lilly. 💜 It truly is the end of an era with her passing. Over the past 15 years and 5 months, we had some incredible adventures with this little fierce girl. She loved hiking, swimming and most of all sun bathing. ☀️
She hated clothes and couldn’t stand her baby brother @walterwhiteisalowchen mostly because he is so high energy and as Lilly aged, she wasn’t about to put up with his antics. Sadly in February of 2025 she was diagnosed with MVD and severe pulmonary hypertension. We managed her meds well for an entire year thanks to her caring cardiologist. It’s a different energy in our house now and she will leave a void in our pack. 🐕 We are so grateful for all the memories and lessons Lilly gifted us with. Yesterday we celebrated our very special boy, @agostinothecanecorso Birthday 🎈 Augie is now a 4 year old! Can’t believe how fast time has passed. We LOVE our big Barney the Dinosaur 🦖 he is just the sweetest boy there ever was. 🧸 Anyone who meets him immediately comments on how well behaved and loving he is. Augie, loves when people ask to pet him or say hi…it’s his favorite thing. We love watching his little nubby tail wag with excitement.

Speaking of love, he is the BEST big brother to our little crazy Heisenberg @walterwhiteisalowchen Augie is the most patient, sharing and loving hermano to Walter. We are blessed to have Augie in our lives, as he fills our souls with unconditional love. Thank you to our forever grandma, Alexia for the gift of 2 amazing pup pups! 🐶 Mister we love you so much, Happy Birthday! 🐻 🖤

87… it’s always been “my” number. The year I was born, the milestone I’ve reached in weight loss (87 lbs in 2 years!), and now, it symbolizes strength in a whole new way.💪🏻

For the first time in my life, I’m seeing real muscle growth. Since January 2023, I’ve been working tirelessly to strengthen my body—walking again after 10 years of excruciating pain. It all began after a major nerve surgery in December 2022 that changed the function of my foot, ankle, and leg. I’m so thankful for that surgery and my amazing doctor. 🙏

But my journey isn’t over. Unfortunately, I will need more surgeries to maintain my body’s function and minimize pain. Today, I had an L5-S1 disc replacement. It’s a long road ahead, and who knows what’s next? 🙆🏻

To those who’ve checked in, I apologize for the silence. I’m in a space where I need to focus on myself. Self-care has always been something I’ve put on the backburner, but I’ve spent enough years taking care of others. Right now, I need time to grieve, to heal, and to process. When I’m ready to reconnect, I will.

Chronic pain is hard. But I’m still here, still pushing forward, and learning how to accept my new reality. Thank you for your patience and support. 💙

On 4/29/24 at 9:06pm we said goodbye to our sweet little bobo bear. 🐻 Bonzy Jones came into our lives in December of 2013 in an absolute mess. He was severely emaciated and his right eye needed to be removed. We name him Bonzy Jones because he looked like a skinny, bony pirate. 🏴‍☠️ Bonzy quickly fit into our family and brought such a joy to our home that we didn’t know we needed.

In 2016 he began battling every skin disease on planet earth. In March of 2019 he had spontaneous retinal detachment in his remaining left eye, leaving him completely blind. In 2020 he was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease. This dog would face so much health adversity throughout his life with us, however he never once let it get to him. He remained the sweetest boy, even in total blindness.

He loved his big brother Nikko the most, he loved to travel, to swim, to go hiking, he loved rides in the car, but most importantly he loved to eat! His first Valentine’s Day with us, he got into a box of chocolates and ate 17 pieces! I will never forget him running up and down our hallway and jumping on the couch from all that candy! One time after going to dinner we had him in the car and stopped by CVS, when we got back into the car we discovered that he managed to get into our Chinese food leftovers. 🤦🏻‍♀️

BJ has taught me so much about resiliency, I too struggle with health issues and it’s hard not to get sucked into the black hole. But I have to remind myself of how this dog never let his struggles take over his beautiful soul.

In 2023 he began to decline and his body developed a resistance to basically all medication. In 11 years we saw 3 dermatologists, 4 vets, countless rounds of meds, allergy shots, you name it we tried it. It’s hard not to feel defeated, because I am the “fixer” of the family and I couldn’t fix him. When it became clear that we could no longer make him comfortable, we knew it was time. We are grateful for the time we had with him and even more grateful that we were able to say goodbye in the comfort of our own home. Bobo bear, we hope you’re reunited with Ellwood, Nikko and Meesha running around eating some yummy food. 🌈 🐶 We will love you always 🖤🤍 taken in Hermosa Beach, California by @ritatherealtor
