Somewhere 5yr-old me is smiling.🤍

She was the little girl who looked up every time she heard an airplane overhead, wondering where it was going and dreaming of all the places she might see one day. She never could have imagined that one day the sky would become her office, the world her neighborhood, and travel not just a dream, but a way of life.

Not everyone is built for a life where your office is 35,000 feet in the air one day and a completely different city the next. It takes flexibility, patience, resilience, and a sense of adventure.

Every safety demo, every nervous passenger reassured, every onboard medical handled, every emergency met with calm and care, every holiday worked, every delay navigated, every goodbye and welcome aboard… it all matters.

The unpredictability, meeting people from everywhere, waking up in different cities, being part of a crew, and getting to help people along the way… are what make it special.

Here’s to many more sunsets from the jumpseat, layovers you’ll never forget, and boarding announcements you’ve said a thousand times but somehow still manage to make look effortless.

May your KCM never be random, and may your go-home days go flawlessly. 💫✨

To all my fellow metal bird lovers, sky dwellers, and cabin crew family… Happy International Flight Attendant Day. ✈️
