Big things are on the horizon at The Ritz Theatre and Museum.

Our $2.2 million museum renovation is paving the way for an exciting new chapter, featuring updated exhibits, interactive experiences, and enhanced accessibility designed to create a more engaging and welcoming experience for every visitor.

While the transformation is underway, we're looking ahead to a reimagined museum that will continue to celebrate and share the rich history, culture, and stories that make The Ritz a cornerstone of our community.

Stay tuned. More details about what's coming will be shared as the project progresses. by @ritzjax

We can't wait for this production! Shaun Powell's "Until Divorce Do Us Part" stage production that takes audiences inside the complicated realities of love, marriage, betrayal, and the breaking point between "I do" and "I'm done."

Filled with drama, emotion, unexpected twists, and moments of humor, this compelling production asks one question: When love is tested, do you fight for the marriage or fight to finally be free?

I looked at the seating chart this morning and had a moment. ❤️ More than half of the seats for October 29 are already spoken for.

Dear Jacksonville started with a simple idea. My longtime friend Cicely Hill Hendricks said, “Why don’t you do a one-woman show?”
I thought, No way! 😂 But I could do a community show.

A celebration of 50, yes, but also a chance to tell the story of the city that has helped shape so much of my life.

Yesterday my MIL asked me, “When did this get so big?”
I said, “When people started saying yes.”

The Ritz. My producer Traci Henderson Smith. PRI. Akia Uwanda. Comedian A-Train. Meachum Lamar Clarke. Kezia Rolle and JCA dancers. Douglas Anderson Theatre students. And there are still more yeses I haven’t told you about yet. ❤️

Now more than 200 of you have said yes too.

Thank you, Jacksonville. I would love for you to be in the room.
