It is such a thrill to share that my Q&A with @binatamillinery is in today’s @nytimes print edition, complete with a teaser above the fold on the front page of the Sunday Styles section. I can’t overstate how challenging it is to get original stories told in the media industry these days, especially as a freelancer and *especially* as a journalist of color. I’ll never take moments like this for granted because I know how much determination and doggedness is required to get here. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way, including my readership, editorial mentors, media peers, and my sources and interview subjects who entrust me with their stories.
