ARTIST SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK Featuring: @riventown from @deadidolband Mari is the Vocalist and Songwriter for @deadidolband. Their Band name is 'Dead Idol'. The name has a meaning: To revive the nostalgic sound of rock music and/or different genres with new idols. Moreover, to bring back dead and forgotten music to audiences that can relate. Something Mari wants to achieve with the band is to first and foremost, have fun, but to also gain more exposure and develop a bigger audience that enjoys their craft. Fun fact about Mari: She has made songs since she was 3, which probably fueled her obsession with K-Dramas. Fun Fact about Dead Idol: The band name was almost 'Fire Pants in a Diaper'... Thanks for taking the time to read, stay tuned for next week's featured artist! Pictures are from their performance on 1.31.2026 at @the_end_houston #DeadIdol #Deadrock #Rock #pop #music #photography #houston taken in The End by @riventown

and i wouldn’t change a thing 😉🥂 #hello2026 so grateful for everything 2025 brought me. i pushed through so many challenges and hit so many milestones. i knew a lot could change in a year, but i never expected to meet so many amazing people or learn this much about myself in such a short time. going into 2026, i hope to give back even a fraction of the love i received this past year. i’m sooo ready for what’s next 💗(also, this is my reminder to take way more pictures this year. love you all.) by @riventown
