To share about this song by Beloved Kabir —
this song takes me into the depths of solitude, of utter loneliness, and gently allows me to rest there. From that stillness, it invites me on a journey toward all-oneness — a tender transition from aloneness to all “oneness.”

This beautiful song carries such a deep essence of presence and our true core, allowing us to journey through and experience that truth.
Grateful to Kabir for gifting us this song.

Thank you so much, my dear friends, for receiving my rendition with love.

Deep gratitude for the 111 listeners 🥰🤗💚
Haq Daata.🙏✨

One thing that stayed with me from Bir…

Those little circles where strangers came together to sing, chant, laugh, and share nothing but good energy.

No tickets.
No phones in the air.
No one trying to impress anyone.

Just people reminding each other that joy doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated.

I think we need more of this.
More moments where strangers leave feeling a little less like strangers. ❤️

Would you join something like this if it happened in your city?

Save this as a reminder to choose real moments over endless scrolling. 🌿

Kabir’s Maya

I have no words to describe the beauty of this song or the depth it carries. Sharing my most favourite Kabir song.

Here, he speaks of Maya - how subtle and skillful she is. The illusion that comes closest to the truth is the most dangerous one. She weaves herself into everything you hold sacred, everything you consider truth or source imposter of the soul and that is where she becomes most dangerous.

Kabir & Kirtan ✨

While I continue sharing a bit from my recent travels, I want to tell you about this beautiful gathering in Himachal.

I recently hosted a singing circle at the beautiful @soulkadi.canteen, which naturally flowed into a Kirtan deeply inspired by the energy of this place and by @vikram_prem_bodhi on tabla.

I invited my friend @river_e_darya to share some Kabir, and together we offered a mashup we’ve been playing since we met, combining “Kinare lagao” with a mantra for the Goddess Durga.

“Kinare lagao” both literally and metaphorically means “take me to the shore.” It is a call to the Divine to guide us out of the world of illusion and reconnect us with Truth and Light. The Durga mantra is an invocation of the Divine Mother, the energy of protection, compassion, mercy, and courage.

For me, this mashup feels like a prayer: a prayer for the love and courage to surrender to the Divine, and to experience unity beyond the entanglements of the mind, the heart, our beliefs, conditioning, and cultural identities.

Grateful for this evening, for the warmth of Soulkadi, and for every person who lovingly sang along. And especially grateful to Vikram and River for sharing their devotion and presence 🤍

🎥Thanks @sakethrayala for your presence and shooting ✨🙏🏼 and thanks @akshaya999 for sending it 💛
