We're very excited to share with you that our new series "Shared Planet" will be airing this Thursday on The Nature of Things at 9pm and streaming for free on CBC Gem and The Nature of Things YouTube channel.

These are the untold stories of humans and animals flourishing together - a vision of a hopeful future where making room for wildlife benefits us all.

This series was a true labour of love, having been in production for many years, before eventually traveling to 16 countries across the globe to meet inspiring people and witness incredible wildlife behaviour.

We hope you tune in! by @riverroadfilms

After months of delay and anticipation, the Daytime Emmys did not disappoint -
Island of the Sea Wolves came away with 4 wins out of our 7 nominations!

When we're hunkered down in the cold and the wind and the rain waiting for wildlife to appear, or holed up in an edit suite, or frantically making last minute adjustments to complicated logistics, awards like these are the farthest thing from anyone's mind.

But the recognition for all that hard work sure is nice (and it gives the perfect excuse to clean up and get just a bit glamorous)!

A huge congrats to all the winners and other nominees!

Thanks to James and the whole team at Wild Space Productions and to Netflix for trusting us with this project.

And of course, a big thanks to all of you for watching and all of your support - we love hearing from you!

We are very honoured to have received the Innovation in Green Production Award from @jacksonwildorg for our recent series Shared Planet!

A huge congrats to the whole production team for doing your part to ensure this global series left as little a footprint as possible!

A special recognition to Armen Evrensel, Matt Muncaster @mattmuncaster and Lynn Fuhr who took on the gargantuan task of measuring the production’s impact and continually pushed for smarter, greener solutions.

Thanks to @maxwelhohn for accepting the hardware on our behalf - the cowboy hat paired with double-denim is a great look, by the way. You need to bring that back to B.C!

As Maxwel mentions in his speech, Shared Planet is the result of nearly 10 years of development for Jeff and Chelsea Turner before eventually reaching the screen, so it is particularly special to have this series recognized.

Huge congrats to all other winners and nominees at Jackson this year! by @riverroadfilms
