Join us!!
Our goal is to help you become a more independent angler. You may have already taken a fly fishing 101 class or haven’t been on the water in many moons. We want to polish your skills and get you ready for the summer ahead. Day one we are I’ll primarily be in the classroom or on the casting field, days two and three will primarily be all on the water. We may be fishing the rivers on the west side of Yellowstone National Park, like the Firehole, Madison and Gibbon or we could be wading the Madison River below Earthquake Lake.

On the water topics will cover but not be limited to:
* speciality short casts
* improved nymphing techniques
* fishing streamers
* stalking trout in challenging locations
We will also discuss:
* equipment
* fly selection
* entomology
* rigging
* how to maximize your time on the water

This is an all-inclusive school located at the Madison Anglers House in the Madison Valley, MT, just one mile from the Raynold’s Pass Fishing Access Area. 4 nights at the house with three full days of both classroom and on the water instruction.

Drifted the Madison with my buddy Mike and had an awesome day. We caught a bunch of fish, including a couple of really nice slabs, and I managed to land three different species, which was pretty cool.

Welcome are thrilled to have Alice Owsley @riversideanglers joining us, one of West Yellowstone’s most experienced and knowledgeable fly fishing guides. At the age of 8, she picked up her first fly rod and learned to pursue trout on the area’s spring creeks. Alice landed her first job in the fly fishing industry at a fly shop during college in the 90’s. After graduating, she headed to the Rocky Mountains in pursuit of any fish that would take a fly. Based out of West Yellowstone, Montana, Alice is the owner, founder and head guide at Riverside Anglers. And with 25 years of experience guiding in and around the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, she offers exceptional expertise and brings forth impressive skills in casting, fishing, and tying.

Alice is also a field advisor for R. L. Winston Rods, a member of the Simms Fishing Products Pro-Team, and an ambassador for Scientific Anglers.
