📖 Join Finishing Line Press authors Ann LoLordo (Materfamilias) and Jenny Isaacs (The Argument of Time) for an evening of poetry and unexpected connections. About the Poets: ---Jenny Isaacs graduated at a precociously young age from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in writing poetry, then wrote “around the edges” of her life for 40 years while raising three daughters to adulthood. Now retired, she lives with her husband four doors down from her own parents, on the shores of a creek near the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. The Argument of Time, her first collection, was awarded publication as a semi-finalist in Finishing Line Press’ Open Chapbook competition. ---Ann LoLordo is a writer, editor and former journalist who spent the first half of her career at The Baltimore Sun, reporting throughout Maryland and across the United States and the Middle East. She then served as the Sr. Director of Communications for a global health non-profit. Her poems have appeared in Delmarva Review, Sow’s Ear Poetry Review, Southern Poetry Review, South Dakota Review, Puerto del Sol, The MacGuffin and other literary journals. She is a co-author of the poetry collection, In the Margins: A Conversation in Poetry. A graduate of Georgetown University (BA) and Johns Hopkins University (MA), Ann lives in Crownsville with her husband and son. Free event - reserve your seat! Reception following! The NJPlayLab is proud to announce the talented selected playwrights, along with their plays, that will be featured in the inaugural 2026 ALL EXITS! NJ Statewide Play Reading Series! After realizing the lack of opportunities offered to playwrights in South Jersey, we at The NJPlayLab sought to rectify that. The mission of ALL EXITS! is to serve playwrights who are outside the major urban areas of NYC or Philadelphia by providing these writers with professional support for their playwriting pursuits.
