Back after taking a break from Facebook to concentrate on both a commission project and other life events.
Here's #day27 of the #30daysofkpopsongchallenge
Representing a song that I initially disliked, but grew to like; is #IVE's song #Heya from their fantastic #Switch album.
Initially I got the chorus stuck in my head and was annoyed with how much of an earworm it was. Having no understanding of the meaning behind the words made it seem silly.
Then, a few months ago, I was watching a compilation video of songs that cleverly incorporate aspects of Korean culture into them either visually, lyrically or audibly, and this song was in the mix. As I'd only heard & not seen it up until then, it captured my attention with its visual appeal.
Then I watched another analysis of the song and it explained the folklore connections and the way IVE have cleverly used that as a metaphor for their own experiences.
All those things added together to make this a really interesting earworm of a song, so I don't mind getting it stuck in my head now. 😆 taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @riverwind_lisajp

Thankyou Everyone for your lovely Birthday well wishes.
I had a quiet day mending today, but a few nice pressies came my way. The first was a ticket to the Little Food Market from Anthea. Which Anthea & I went to, with Barbara as well. I had such fun eating too much cheese, wine, gin and whiskey. 🧀🥂🥃😜
Today, Mum gave me a nice scented candle because the present she ordered will be another week or so before it arrives. 😃
Then after work, Alana gave me a wonderful gift voucher to my favourite shop. 💿🇰🇷🎶 They see me & know I have very little willpower to resist buying something off my long wish list. 🥰
I feel very blessed to have so many people send me birthday wishes, when I'm so haphazard in my sending out the same to most of you.
Next year I'm hoping to organise a party to make up for missing out on my 50th due to COVID, so keep yourself healthy and I'll hopefully see most of you all next year.

I had to take a break from posting to Instagram & elsewhere because life was a bit hectic, but I'm back. I'm determined to finish this challenge. Good thing there's no rule that says it has to be consecutive days 😁 I chose this last year when I compiled the list, I'm sticking with it to keep my list well rounded. It's a month short of 12 months since it was released so it's still a valid choice.
Their latest release album is excellent too. They just keep hitting the right note with great concepts and sounds, great choreo and music videos. 🫶🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I love my neighbourhood ☺️
My neighbour just delivered half a tub of snow from #mtdonnabuang asking "do you want to build a snowman?"
😂😂😂
I don't have appropriate gloves though, so my hands would just freeze 🥶
We threw some at each other for a bit, but now I'm wondering what to do with the rest of it.

I'm not a Novid any more!
The last 48 hours I've descended into awful lurgi country.
I was thinking it was just a Fibromyalgia flare (as I'd not been getting enough sleep for a few days), but my sore throat wouldn't let up, & then I got this disgusting cough. I developed a temperature last night and this morning had the chills then the sweats, so I did a COVID rat. I was hesitant about it's efficacy because my tests are all six months out of date. 😬
I really don't think there is any room for mistranslation of the results though. That second line is a real beetroot red!
Thankfully Anthea Pownall put me onto an online bulk billed doctor & Barbara Pownall went & got my Escript filled. I'm dosed up with antiviral medication now so I hope my head and chest stop hurting soon. by @riverwind_lisajp

After another long break, most of it without my usual unlimited internet, I'm back to try and finish this. I mean, I chose all the songs and made a playlist last year, but I'm still making individual videos for each song and posting them on the clock app & here. 😊
It's a major challenge to not let my #adhd
get the better of me, so I'm being persistent to get it finished.
