Klassisk Lounge🕯

Musikk i videoutdrag (i rekkefølge):
Brahms – Ungarsk dans no. 5
Scriabin – Pianosonate no. 2 op. 19, 1. sats
Svendsen – Romanse
Schumann – Kind im Einschlummern fra Kinderszenen

The first row of concerts is now behind us but we are still engulfed in the echoes of the last three Beethoven sonatas.
We had a lot of fun, but we also have much left to reflect on and to be grateful for. ✨

This tour was a learning experience for us, not just in terms of diving deep into the intricacies of the music, but we also found out how young audiences can be surprisingly enthusiastic about late Beethoven. 🕯️

A big thanks to the venues, @kulturhusetbanken, @kolbenkulturhus and our alma mater @musikkhogskolen, vi gleder oss til å komme tilbake! 🤩

More of this is coming in the spring, keep following! ❄️ taken in Norway by @riwookim

Sart,
motstridende,
transcendentalt.

📌 21/11 kl. 19:00 – Kolbotn
@kolbenkulturhus , Foajéen (3. etg)

📌 27/11 kl. 18:30 – Lillehammer
@kulturhusetbanken , Festsalen

📌 29/11 kl. 18:00 – Oslo
@musikkhogskolen , Levinsalen

Beethoven’s last three sonatas are not just music — they are a journey beyond sound, where the soul sheds its earthly weight.

As András Schiff said: “It is cosmic music — inferno, purgatory, and paradise together.”

In these pages, Beethoven writes eternity. ✨

Our performance of Canto Ostinato at @musikkhogskolen will soon be available in full. In the meantime, here is a little taste of section 74. We love this part not only for its hauntingly beautiful melody, but also because it sums up the nature of the piece, four pianos slowly merging into one instrument and both the performers and the audience being suspended in time for a while together. Thank you for experiencing it with us! We hope to repeat this soon.💜 by @riwookim
