My mom taught me about God. She gave me a book with Songs about Jesus when I was like 4 or 5 idk.. but i remember one went like this: “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so…”

NEVER was a church gal but the year I have had.. 😅 … from NOW on, I’m going wherever the LORD needs me!:

In 2017, I had NO second thoughts about going to The Illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana. That was the school I was going to. Ask my mom🤣 & But man, graduating college is hard. So many trials and tribulations until one day.. he called me by my name when I thought my life was over. I remember this was when “Thuggin forreal” by @quando_rondo first came out and I had that song on repeat til I knew it.. but the part of the song that caught my attention most was, “wake up in the morning brush my teeth and throw my flag to my left- drop to my knees and say a prayer, “Lord I’m askin for help..” … I’m like, “dag he HAD to pray to get to where He is rn.. shoot ima ask for help, too!”🤣

I prayed faithfully, for discipline, motivation and endurance. (I need to start again and encourage YOU to make it YOUR prayer too) He gave me what I needed. The discipline to keep going because I was in college.. &i still had stuff to take care of. He gave me the motivation; told me that I was here for a reason- and without Him, it also woulda been impossible to have the endurance of His spirit that told me “keep going”….. it was the Lord himself who kept me and kept me sane. Yet, shortly after, I was surrounded by laughter and real love. I had friends like: @noIG/MANNY @rico.ron in which we’ve bonded like gorilla glue🤣 Yall cant deny me 🤷🏾‍♀️.. @dmohighdemand @ecwimberly @hanowilson_ @cejoye_ @wassuplo the first people from Chicago i genuinely clicked with the moment we met and we been stuck ever since! Ask them! 🤞🏾 Das gang fasho! I even sound like them saying that, now! Anyways. Dont play w them. To my Dummies, Ce & Lo, I love yall man. I’m thankful God gave me real friends.

Let me fix my crown👸🏾 I am *THE* First woman in my family to graduate from college! There’s literally NOTHING I can’t do with God on my side.

The BIGGEST ‘thank you’ goes to everyone who supported me during this journey❤️ I am blessed to have received the gift of true love from my family & friends who stuck by me during these four long years.

I am thankful for my church family…. To my family and friends thank those who been sticking w me & supporting me! Yall the realest💯 God used you all in a way where all I can say is thank you 🙏🏾 I am always praying for y’all.

I’m a different breed- God always showed me that. I didn’t believe it cus I was so into what the world thought. TUH! 💅🏾

Most importantly: last, but NOT nearly the least, THANK GOD for being the same God He was when Jesus walked Earth and when i lost myself myself, and the God who is now giving me the courage to share my testimony: that GOD IS REAL! THIS LIFE IS NOT THE END! HE ALWAYS HAS SOMETHING BETTER FOR US.. ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS BELIEVE.. HE WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY!

This book getting long🥰, so Imma leave yall with something God has been showing me for the past 10 months: That you don’t have to know the whole bible. 1 scripture is all you need to “show yourself approved”.. and he has shown me this:

Isaiah 43:2 —- “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.” .. still learning it word for word so I hope u catch my drift.

In Jesus’s name I pray whoever this is speaking to, God reveal himself to you in His most mighty ways, Amen. by @riyadior

i woke up @4am Wednesday morning and noticed how bright the moon was. the more i stared at it, it seemed like it was getting unrealistically closer…

tbh i never felt more ready in my life.

“ready for what?” you’re probably asking— i was ready for Jesus’ return.

a wave of complete calmness hit me when i thought the world was gonna end right then and there. i was a little disappointed it didnt happen though.. that He didnt return yet because lately, earth has been feeling like somewhere i’m just visiting.. like i dont belong here anymore. i long to be with Jesus forever…

to be clear, this isnt a $ui€i%#l note or cry for help.. it’s biblical. 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭2‬ says, “Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling…”

i didnt think about waking anyone up, grabbing my shoes or my phone to text someone, fixing my hair or cleaning up— i just fully surrendered and accepted if that’s what’s happening i was willing.. like “TAKE ME NOW LORD!”

it reminded me that Jesus warns, “Let no-one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no-one in the field go back to get their cloak……See, I have told you in advance…… For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭17‬-‭18‬, ‭25‬, ‭27‬)

in all actuality, when that time comes, you have to be ready. if Jesus came back @4am tonight, would you be ready? *God forbid* if you died today, can you for sure of where you’re going?
