The busy season is over so I basically just sit in the office all day and draw unflattering caricatures of people that walk by.

Storyboard reel! Definitely wanna work on this skill a bit more in the future. Storyboarding is really fun and I'd love to get some gigs under my belt!

Been thinking about Banjo Kazooie a lot lately, and how dearly I wish they'd make a third one. I have this idea that if in Banjo Tooie we meet Gruntildas sisters, Blobelda and Mingella, then in a 3rd game the big threat should be the rest of her family, like her mum! Its a shame because they added these characters but they never really did anything, they appeared in like 3 cutscenes and a minigame and were then killed off. I know the whole point of Banjo is that its all kinda nonsensical and goofy with no explaination but man, Id love to see these characters built upon and worked into what little lore there is 👌

For over a decade now Toonboom animation software has scared me to my core, especially since more and more jobs require it as a standard and I just couldnt seem to get my head round it.
I even won a free liscence in a raffle a couple years back from the official instagram and spent my free year deliberating and going in circles making little progress out of sheer confusion and fear of failure.
With the love, help and support of those dear to me, I took a chance on a whim and signed up to a week long course at @clothcatstudio in Cardiff.

Taught by grand master @drawnsean. This course has completely erased any doubt I had about using the software. Sean did the impossible and thanks to him I feel that I have everything I need to utilise Toonboom and one day soon apply it in a professional setting.

Thankyou everyone!
