Gravel-avonturen 🚲🔥

Vier vrienden, een flinke dosis kilometers en het briljante idee om paden in te duiken die op de kaart véél makkelijker leken. 😂

Stof, lachen, af en toe een “waren we hier wel goed?”, brandende benen en dat gevoel van vrijheid dat je alleen krijgt wanneer je het asfalt achter je laat en een beetje verdwaalt.

Want dat is gravel: nieuwe wegen ontdekken, samen afzien en aan het einde van de dag thuiskomen met verhalen om te vertellen. En als er modder bij komt kijken? Alleen maar beter. 😎

4 fietsen. 1 route. 1000 avonturen.
En eerlijk? Morgen zouden we het gewoon weer doen. 🚴‍♂️💨

When is it enough?

We’re constantly chasing the next thing. Another goal, another achievement, another reason to keep moving. Before we’ve even enjoyed where we are, we’re already thinking about where we’re going next, caught up in the rush of life.

And somehow, we’ve started doing the same on the bike.

We chase the numbers.
Average speed. Watts. Distance. KOMs.

Maybe we just need to pause sometimes.

Pause from the pressure.
Pause from the numbers.
Pause from always wanting more.

Ride without checking your average speed. Stop for a coffee. Take the longer way home. Notice the view. Enjoy the people around you. Have a chat!

Life doesn’t always have to be optimized. Neither does cycling.

Because what are we actually chasing for?

If we’re always chasing what’s next, when do we actually get to enjoy where we are? Maybe the point isn’t always to go faster, further or achieve more.
