“Pancake Kisses” came from a real experience of Paruparo’s Migo. While getting close to someone, he showed his affection through little things bringing sweet martabak, ice cream, and all the effort he could give. Until he found out she was already with someone else. Yeah, that hurt.

That experience became the starting point of the chorus, later developed with Sindy and Millie into the full song.

It’s about that feeling when you give too much, read too much into the little things, and eventually realize you were never really the one they chose. Sweet at first, but kinda bitter in the end just like “Pancake kisses, candy lies.”
