POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Been wanting to post more variety of dance-related content here. Feel like the things that move me are way more interesting than just me moving. So I'd like to start sharing content here from others with the cover image "FWD:"

This excerpt is from British performer Tiffany Strawson about mapping, drawing, and states of tension, in her approach to learning Balinese dance. (the specific dance shown is tari Gambu)

From the blog of Baltimore artist Susan Waters Eller. Sharing her approach to illusionism for visual artists as it also applies to creating illusion in dance.

You can find more of her art and writing @ seeingmeaning.blogspot.com

OK then lfg 😬. A big reason why I wanted to lean more into video is because I want to create a lasting body of work for myself and the best liquid dancers out there. Riz definitely falls under that category and I'm honored to have her on the inaugural post here. Her creativity and authenticity are both highly respected in the community. Really glad i got the chance to visit her a couple weeks ago in Philly. We got to shoot in this amaaazing abandoned warehouse. got a late start to the day so we were shooting for quantity more than quality, however I still like how most the shots came out. More to come in the next week or 2 :). This one was difficult to edit cause of the sun coming in/ out but it's all good... learned me some stuff by @rizliquid

Participated in my very first performance in collaboration with @joshuamarquezmusic for Philadelphia's @fringearts 2026 - "Masks Off". Immense gratitude to Josh for all the effort and guidance, encouraging me to step up and work together to make this opportunity happen. Looking forward to exploring more music + dance collabs in the future🙏✨️

Big thanks to everyone who came out🫶 @gucia7 @luisa_is_making_art @meeyabee @rumoe_ @laurenraske_7txs @steveshortsart @gl0be_trekker appreciate you all for taking the time to come through.

@fl0st8_ogdarkmatter thank you for getting these videos and pics on the first night! And all your support, input, and positivity, especially through other challenges i had with work and burnout during this time. U da best❤️‍🔥

I am very excited to share this upcoming Philly Fringe Festival @fringearts show coming up next week at the @roxboroughpa Pocket Park! This collaboration with @rizliquid has been incredible. El Rizal will be creating Indonesian-inspired liquid movement over @joshuamarquezmusic 's Filipino-rooted broken beats. Kulintang, kutyapi, and other Filipino instruments will create music for movement in this experimental event. Join us as El takes on different masks for an unforgettable performance.

Tickets are available at the link in my bio and shared on my stories! We'll be performing at 7pm on 9/12, 9/13, and 9/14!

various flow play, crappy clusters, but mostly. Revisiting and reworking an old digitz character concept "crowns" to feed into full body flow
