The Great Place 2026!
Grateful for everything He has given us!

What an incredible edition of @youth.opwekking “The Great Place” 2026.
This year I had the opportunity to fulfill the role of Technical Producer within The Great Place for the very first time, something I’m incredibly thankful for and proud of.

Besides that, together with my good friend @l.evin_k.ee we were able to take the lighting production to a whole new level. From massive timecode sequences to live busking moments, we pushed creativity, technology and dynamics further than ever before.

Also huge credits to @guidoboerland & @stephvannamen for the amazing content creation and LED operating throughout the entire event. The visuals truly elevated the whole experience.

And of course, respect to @annelivansoolingen for the production leadership during the entire project. Keeping a production of this scale running smoothly is an achievement on its own 🙌

Last but not least, the man beneath the stage, my trusted system technician @rubenrabs 🔧

Rotterdam at blue hour 🌃✨

The city slowly lighting up while the last colors of the sunset fade away behind the skyline.
The Erasmus Bridge always gives such an iconic view over the city, especially during that short moment between day and night.

Captured from the beautiful @nhowrotterdam , overlooking the skyline of Rotterdam.

$Exploring the underwater world of the Maldives 🐠 So much fish everywhere, sometimes you don’t even know where to look first. The Maldives kept surprising us with every dive. Together with @youandmemaldives & @dive.mission we saw incredible reefs, huge schools of fish and the small details you only notice when you slow down underwater. Shooting with the Nikon Z8 in the @ikelite housing from @uwcamerastore. Combining diving and photography is always a challenge, but capturing moments like these makes it absolutely worth it. { 📸 1: Nikon Z8 (NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S) ISO1600 21mm f/22.0 1/200sec + Ikelite Z8 housing + Ikelite DS161 flash } Clarks anemonefish & Bubble-tips sea anemone { 📸 2: Nikon Z8 (NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S) ISO1600 21mm f/5.0 1/500sec + Ikelite Z8 housing + Ikelite DS161 flash } Huge cloud of Glassfishes { 📸 3: Nikon Z8 (NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S) ISO1600 105mm f/8.0 1/250sec + Ikelite Z8 housing + Ikelite DS161 flash } Close up Glassfish { 📸 4: Nikon Z8 (NIKKOR Z MC 105mm f/2.8 VR S) ISO1600 105mm f/8.0 1/400sec + Ikelite Z8 housing + Ikelite DS161 flash } { 📸 5: Nikon Z8 (NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S) ISO1600 21mm f/8.0 1/1250sec + Ikelite Z8 housing + Ikelite DS161 flash } #nikon #nikonnl📸 #nikonz8 #cameranu_nl #dutch_shooters @nikoneurope @nikonnl @dutch.shooters @cameranu_nl by @rj.debaat$

$The Northern Lights ✨ Right above my hometown Veenendaal, on January 19th around 23:10. I was lying in bed when I started seeing incredible photos pop up across different apps and platforms. That was the moment I dragged myself out of bed, into the garden, to capture this surreal sight. No fancy photo location or a nicely coordinated photo, just a quick rushed shot in the back garden. These are also my first photos with the new Nikon Z 24–70mm f/2.8 S II, and it’s already proving to be an incredible lens.
