I find amusement in random obscurities. This was the coolest thing I saw yesterday. Cool to a geek like me anyways.

A while back I was fascinated with a story of a guy who started with a paper clip and kept trading it up for more valuable items until he ultimately traded for a house. Anyways I was passing through Kipling, SK and wanted coffee. This old house was the only coffee shop in this tiny village. I went in, bought coffee, used the bathroom and snooped around the whole house. It didn’t dawn on me until I got out of the house that it was THE house. I had to pick a town to hunker down at for a few days and I picked Moosomin in southern Saskatchewan near the Manitoba border. The more I spend time in these small country towns and villages the more I like it. It’s got a certain charm. taken in Moosomin, Saskatchewan by @rjdempsey

Cruising down memory lane on my day off. I lived in this building for a short time in 2001 or 2002. It was called The King George Hotel. It was the cheapest room we could find in the city that had it’s own bathroom. It wasn’t great. People thought we sold drugs when we were actually trying to sell them Jesus taken in Central Business District by @rjdempsey
