"Who would have imagined that the cheerful voice hosting your morning radio show once spent years studying teeth, clinics, and textbooks? My journey was never conventional! Growing up, I was always a studious person, and like most students at the time, life seemed to offer only two respectable options: engineering or medicine. I chose medicine and pursued BDS, but somewhere along the way, I realised there was another side of me waiting to be explored. From a very young age, I had loved talking to people, making conversations, and bringing energy into a room. Dentistry gave me a career, but it did not completely satisfy the creative spark within me.Soon after my final year, I decided to take a leap into the entertainment industry and try radio. I walked into multiple radio stations with a resume that had absolutely nothing to do with media, and rejection became a regular part of my routine. Then came a turning point, a contest by Fever FM for aspiring radio jockeys. I participated and surprisingly I won. That victory gave me a three-month internship at the station, which soon turned into a full-time opportunity because they loved my energy and work. I eventually hosted the morning show “Ready, Steady, Po,” a lively show that brought humour and conversations into people’s everyday lives.The opportunities kept growing from there. I became a judge on Vijay TV’s “King of Comedy Junior – Season 1” alongside the late actor Robo Shankar and actress Ramba, and later participated in the reality show “Mrs. Chinnathirai.” It was such a fun experience. While hosting other corporate events, I also auditioned for Mani Ratnam Sir’s “Chekka Chivantha Vaanam” and was selected to play the sister of the brothers, followed by a role in Suseenthiran Sir’s “Kennedy Club”. I thoroughly enjoyed playing those roles.Now, I have started creating comedy sketches on Instagram in which I play a typical South Indian mother ranting about everyday things.
