16 years ago, in Bridgetown, a neighbourhood on Cape Town’s infamous Cape Flats, RLabs started a journey, with a simple premise: that community-led innovation, dignity, and technology could transform lives. Today, across 24 countries and with over 65 million lives touched, we are taking our next critical leap.

To achieve our ambition of impacting 2 billion lives by 2030, direct delivery alone is not enough. We are shifting from implementers to enablers.

We recently launched our Playbook: The Living Blueprint: Making HOPE Contagious.

It codifies our values architecture, hub setup protocols, and integrated innovation engines into an adaptable framework designed for local champions and global partners to build self-sustaining ecosystems of HOPE.

This essentially open-sources the RLabs model and methods, so any value aligned organisation or person can immediately get to work on effectively impacting lives.
