A throwback in honor of Chicago Repertory Ballet’s 10th anniversary celebration this past weekend. Forever grateful for the stories I shared, characters I embodied and friends I made because of this company. Special thanks to Wade Schaaf for having huge dreams that had me chasing exhilarating challenges year after year. Merde! Here’s to a wonderful weekend of shows!!!
.
I always loved this transition to bare-bones winter.

Catch “Tethered. Tattered. Torn.” at Austin Dance Festival on April 4th!! Very excited to have been selected present. Cannot wait to get into rehearsals and reset this work on a whole new group of dancers!

Posted @withregram • @austindancefestival Rebecca McLindon Blanchard’s dance, “Tethered. Tattered. Torn,” was inspired by the painting “Flood” by Eleanor Spiess-Ferris, which features a flock of birds who have taken residence on a woman’s head floating in a body of water. Another Austin-based choreographer presented by Austin Dance Festival. by @rmb.movement
