For those of you who haven’t heard of 11oh9, It is a gallery iv been helping curate based out of Wilmington, NC. Our gallery is home to a independent collective of artists, working in a variety of mediums, brought together by our passion for live music. Our work is reflective of the individuality that each of us posses, and is harnessed as a group to spread art within our community. We have a brick and mortar gallery located in southeast North Carolina. We host a variety of events, such as The Arts Council 4th Friday Art Walk, a graffiti class called Sip n’ Spray, and a variety of workshops, as well as live music events with local musicians and artists. We strive to add exuberance and a thirst for life through our creations, and to transmit these feelings to our supporters and clients. We are so excited to have an online store and can’t wait to share our art with more people in new and exciting ways 😊 by @rmr.arts

Happy to share that the magic of the @ramblefestival continues! So grateful for the chance to have come back this year! This venue is always so much fun to experience, but my favorite part of this festival will always be the people. I had the best time catching up with old friends and making new ones. Thank you so much to everyone who came by to say hi! 💜 by @rmr.arts

Yesterday I got to do something really special! I had the opportunity to live paint during Storytelling with @storiespgh in Pittsburgh, PA.

Every month, @cucina_alfabeto hosts an event where people come together to listen, and share their stories out loud. This month’s theme was “Words You Wish She Would Have Said,” and it was so inspiring to watch people let go of their fears and get up to share their experiences.

It was the first time this venue had ever had live painting, and I feel so honored that I got to add my creativity to the mix.

It was such a beautiful reminder to use your voice, share your ideas, and don’t be afraid to ask, “Would you be open to letting me paint here?” You never know where that yes might take you. by @rmr.arts

Whether you’re an Artist or not remember the best inspiration often comes from what surrounds you, never forget to take a moment and stop to be inspired.

As children, we see the world through such a beautiful lens. we believe in the possibility of making it more beautiful, and we learn to understand that we have a part in creating that beauty.

As we grow older, we begin to see the world in all of its imperfections. But the beauty was never gone it was always something we had a hand in creating.

It is important to remember that our actions shape the world around us. We have to keep choosing to create beauty , to nurture it, and to make space for it. The world becomes beautiful when we take the time to make it so. by @rmr.arts

I started the weekend celebrating the end of the 2nd Annual Carolina Beach Mural Fest and am ending the weekend reflecting with gratitude!

Watching these pieces come to life live, created by 46 talented local artists, was such a special experience. Seeing them displayed throughout beautiful Carolina Beach and then celebrated at the closing reception before finding their way to their loving new homes made the whole journey even more special .

Thank you so much to the @carolina_beach_murals for celebrating local art and creating opportunities for artists to bring more creativity and beauty into our community!
