This school year was especially tough due to not having your Cochlear BAHA for 7 months (still unaided) and having surgery for a new Cochlear Implant. With bilateral conductive, severe to profound hearing loss, Najah relies on visual cues, lip-reading to communicate. 🎶🎼🎤Middle School choir has come to an end for these talented 8th graders. Their concert this week was music to my ears, they have also sung a song in Swahili 🇰🇪every year. So very special as this is my Mother’s native Language. Each year Anani has had a solo and finished this year singing, “A Letter To My 13 year-old Self” by Laufey 🥹. Anani, our 13 year old daughter, we are so proud of you and thank The Most High for your gifts. Looking forward to leaps & bounds as you prepare for high school. We love you loads xx🥰 by @rn_boss4
