Essential Tips for Kawasan Falls (Badian)
Best Time to Go: Arrive early (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM) to beat crowds and get the best photos, or late afternoon (3:00 PM) for a quieter experience.
Essential Gear: Wear proper footwear (aqua shoes or sandals) to protect your feet from sharp, slippery rocks. Bring a dry bag for electronics, and wear a rash guard for protection against cold water and scratches.
Canyoneering: Booking a tour is highly recommended. It includes a guide, life vest, and helmet, which are essential for navigating the terrain. The activity is usually 3-4 hours.
Safety & Logistics: Listen to your guide; jumps are optional, and there are walkways for most, but not all, jumps. The entrance fee is around 200 pesos.
Getting There & Parking: Take a bus to Badian from Cebu City South Bus Terminal. Free parking is available near the church, or use designated car parks for a small fee.
Cash & Connectivity: Bring enough cash as there are few ATMs and weak signal/internet in some areas.

What to Avoid
Do not go without water-appropriate footwear.
Avoid weekends and holidays if you prefer fewer crowds.
