a year in review :} these are only the things I remembered to post on tiktok, where I’ve been a little more active— but even so, it’s so easy to forget how much can happen in one year.

I want to keep drawing and improving even in times where making a career from art is difficult. I hope in 2026 i will make things that i like even more than my favorites from this year. 365 days of #zelda fixation. LOL

wow i have a job in 2026!!! 3 jobs? i am dying a little bit. i draw every day on the train on the way to work and on the way home. finding little ways to enjoy the year and keep my wrist from crapping itself. i think it is fair to say that this is just the year of me rediscovering how much i love #majora . i am replaying the game again but i have genuinely so little time and i work weekends often so. we make it work or whatever!!!!!!! did u hear takashi nakamura is directing a new film i’m so excited

i don’t have much time to draw T T little hemlocke during a break. i reallyyyyyyyy like this guy i think he’s my fav oc of the month.

jester cursed into servitude because he had a silly moment (mass murder of his court and regicide). he shows very little emotion bc he’s piloted by a demonic parasite that lives in his heart. 🫶

ouh the bug❤️ more Zelda stuff. i have been messing with ideas for other forms that Majora could take and having fun. for some reason, the less we know about a character, the more I gravitate towards them! the mystique of a character that’s kept extremely vague on purpose is so captivating! anyway, the purpose of art is drawing the characters you were obsessed with at seven years old.

marx sketch page + bonus doodles. 100% a jessie heritage character. the amount of time i spent drawing marx as a kid was crazy. weirdly kind of a difficult one to get exactly right! the simpler + the more cartoony the better. as soon as the hat stops being a fluffy blobby shape it loses a bit of its charm.

magolor sketch page ^^ i wonder how many people know that my insta username is from a kirby character? i have a secret kirby fan project that i draw for sometimes, so once in a while ill find myself sketching the same core character over and over. i drew magolor so much as a kid that his design is super intuitive now.
