The album cover says everything before the music even starts.

White background.
No distractions.
Eyes closed.
Thumb pressed to his forehead like the weight finally caught up.

On Icon, Brent looks stressed.

On “four seasons.” — he sounds like it.

👉🏽 Read why this might be the most honest record on the album.

Top 10 RNB Albums of the 1990s & 2000s!
Fight me!
What's your order?
What did I miss?

I spent a few days thinking about this. Aaliyah's album almost made it. So did the 112 album. Mama's Gun didn't make it over Baduizm. I thought Confessions was the Best Usher album.

These are the albums I thought were the most impactful. And yes, R. Kelly made it. Despite his history, he was 90s and 00s R&B. You can argue over Twelve Play v. TP-2. The first had the bigger hits, the 2nd was a more complete album - to me! by @rnb_isnotdead
