Alright, y'all...I'm putting out the call to fill more hours with work! Come take lessons with me at @seattledrumschool Georgetown, Music Coalition, or @guitarcenter Redmond...ask me to create soundscapes and/or act for your theatrical productions...pop me on your gigs/tours of any genre...beckon me into your recording sessions. I'm here and ready to share my creativity, knowledge, and experience with you!

I can't tell you where we were playing music this weekend, but I can say we had a ton of fun, as usual. Played a helluva set, and the energy was great. I may have fucked up my right knee a bit, while doing one of my usual jumps with percussion/horn stabs...it seems to be getting better, but I can't walk super fast yet and my other ankle isn't happy with its recovery being impeded (taking today for a full day of rest, so hopefully that helps). We've got a bit more chaos this season, so I guess I'll have to be more careful with my dance moves, haha. Thanks to all the homies for bringing the much needed forest magic

I was going to wait for rehearsal, 'cause I thought we'd be at Jack Perry, where you took me tonight 4 years ago...but alas, haha. I have so many pictures and videos from our adventures this year to post, but here are a few tidbits I love.

It's been a long year of fun...but, also hardship and healing, building trust others broke, and finding creative ways to achieve our dreams and grow together. I had no idea the love and life we would have now, when we first started getting to know each other...but, every day, I experience more of who you are, and I love you more with every glimpse. To be able to come home to you, a supportive and safe space, a kind and welcoming heart, and all the things you are, is the best feeling in the universe...and I do my best to give you the same every day. Happy First Date-iversary, Harry. Thank you for being my sexy poodlemoth in the night...I love you 💕 by @rnbcellovox

The fish are wylin' today...that duck was like, "Nope."🤘🐟🤘🦆 by @rnbcellovox

It's been almost the perfect weekend...the only thing that would make it more perfect right now, is if @heyaqueous got to enjoy the last day of the Wild Waves waterpark with me. But alas, capitalism. Yesterday was lovely, though...getting around to tasks to make our house cozier, and taking Fronk to the food forest for sniffs at sunset. I'll save ya a pancake dog for us to share at rehearsal, love 💕 by @rnbcellovox

So happy to have rain, and even got a double rainbow! I'll have to get used to getting up at 5 every weekday for my new job at Louisa Boren, making a 6hr gap productive, then heading back there for afternoon shift...and teaching in three of those evenings; but, a nice thing about this job is a free Y membership, so part of that gap can be more dedicated time to getting in shape. And I'm not working weekends, which is pretty golden these days. For now, it's time to pass out at home

It wasn't Jimothy...but, I was visited by a cute raccoon, while cleaning up at my new job. Also, really happy to have more steady, consistent hours, working as a BASE instructor for the Y with STEM kids...and yes, I'm still at SDS Georgetown and Music Coalition, if you want vocal/cello/songwriting/arranging lessons. This is a big relief right now, after struggling so much with the jobhunt...yay!

We just keep finding great scores! So many things even just in our own neighborhood 🦺 by @rnbcellovox

Happiest 2/3 Birthday to the one and only @ennovy.mai! Even though Harry and I had a lot to do with our stuff, it was nice to chill for at least a little bit in the forest with you, and give you the festivities holiday babies don't often get. We can all hope to feel as loved as you on our birthdays, 'cause that was a pretty sweet party full of the acknowledgment and celebration you deserve

Finally getting a chance to share what a wonderful time we had at @qeetba and in the forest last weekend lol

Happiest Birthday to @keithwayne.music...had so much fun playing for you and everyone at your party, and hearing your music live again! And thank you to @julieslickbass for asking Harry and I to be part of your art! And thank you, Harry, for knocking it out of the skypark with hardly any time...you're incredible, and I'm always so proud of you and happy when you're truly seen and heard.

We also documented the Racharriot's 200,000 milestone on the way to the woods. And discovered we acquired a gig googly on one of our cables, haha

Thanks, everyone, for all the fun!

I have to make a special post to thank my friend, John Garrett (aka MechaJohn), for this wonderful and thoughtful gift. It was such a strange moment when I was given the name, Valkyrie, by a goblin in the forest...as the lore has appeared many times to me, and manifested in the physical world. I was given my Valkyrie/Aragorn tattoo, the winged helmet I wear made its way through the drumline to a clown on Bussy to my silly head, I sing opera, we play this Zep tune, probably more I'm forgetting...and now, I have this gorgeous viking axe from the hands and heart of one of the coolest people I know. Thank you so much, John...so happy we all get to know you, hang with you, experience your amazing talents, and looking forward to more Chaotic fun with you, homie! You really made my day with this
