7 years later, can we call ‘Over It’ a classic, or is it still too soon? 👇🏾

Summer Walker released her debut album on October 4, 2019, and it opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 134K, most of it from streaming. The album was streamed 154.7 million times that first week, passing Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ (115.2 million) for the biggest streaming week ever for an R&B album by a woman. Only The Weeknd’s ‘Starboy’ had ever streamed more for an R&B album in a week.

It went No. 1 on the R&B albums chart and gave us ‘Playing Games’ with Bryson Tiller, ‘Come Thru’ with Usher, and ‘Body.’ The only album to top that streaming record since is her own: ‘Still Over It’ in 2021.
