Got some new followers so I thought id reintroduce myself👋🏼 Hi I’m Birdie, born and raised in the Sonoran desert of Tucson Arizona. I’m a mom to 3 boys! I’m 34 years old. I started my silversmith journey 10 years ago about 8 months after my first born. It helped me get through postpartum depression and thrive again. It hasn’t been easy but without smithing in my corner idk where I’d be today🩶🔥⛓️‍💥

New jewels just listed🩶 Shadowbox Star Heart pendant shaped by pressure, time, and hand. Formed from solid Sterling Silver or Red jewelers Brass using a hydraulic press and antique die. After pressing, the piece is hand fabricated. At the center sits Sonoran Turquoise or Variscite stone cut and cabbed in house and bezeled in fine Silver✨

I’m preparing for an update by backing some rough turquoise I got back in January. I usually do this once a year, it gets me by more or less. These will be ready for me to cab tomorrow. Sonoran turquoise I picked up from the gem show and some natural Bisbee turquoise my mom in law gave me🖤

Not my usual content, but I have to share how to turn a basic shirt or a band shirt into a cute halter top so perfect for the summer. You can definitely be more precise with it than I was lol but you get the gist of it.
Also I didnt show it in the video but you will need to crop and cut the sleeves off your Tshirt. I cropped that Thou shirt years ago and didn’t have an another full size shirt I wanted to cut.

⛓️New BIG BABY ring now available⛓️ Hand carved signet wax ring, then sand cast in solid sterling silver, and finished in my new Xtool F2 Ultra. This machine is a beast. Super deep engraving. I couldn’t be happier with the results. What should I make next?
