En wat een leven is dit. Langzaam ons eigen ritme vinden, wakker worden op nieuwe plekken en gewoon gaan waar de weg ons brengt. We beginnen steeds meer te wennen aan dit vrije leven en eerlijk? Hier kunnen we wel aan wennen. 🥹

Inmiddels rijden we langs de Opaalkust in Frankrijk en trekken we langzaam verder richting het zuiden, de kust volgend en de zon tegemoet. 🌞🌊🏄🏼‍♂️

Would you jump off a 10-meter cliff into crystal blue water? 💦

Because that’s exactly what we did — and it was unreal 🤩

This was shot during an epic canyoneering adventure in Moalboal, Cebu, where we tackled multiple jumps (3m, 5m, 7m… and the 10m), slid down natural rock formations, and even launched ourselves off a ropeswing straight into the turquoise depths of the canyon.

Every jump came with a rush of adrenaline and a moment of hesitation, but the reward? Absolutely worth it. ✨ Moalboal isn’t just about relaxing beaches and sardine runs — it’s also home to some of the best outdoor adventures in the Philippines. If you’re into thrill, nature, and that perfect blend of fear-meets-freedom, this needs to be on your bucket list!

One of the most breathtaking moments we had while diving in the Philippines 🦈🩵

Thresher sharks, known for their long, whip-like tails and graceful movements are deep-sea dwellers, often found at depths where sunlight barely reaches. But in certain locations, like Malapascua in the Philippines, they rise to shallower waters in the early morning hours, giving divers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to encounter them. 🤿

Their tails, which can be as long as their bodies, are used to stun prey with powerful, strikes—a unique hunting technique in the shark world.

Coming face to face with a thresher shark, was pure magic.

Encounters like these are the reason I fell in love with diving. The ocean is full of wonders, and every dive is an opportunity to witness the beauty of marine life in its purest form. Sharks, often misunderstood and feared, are essential to the health of our oceans.

Seeing them in their natural habitat is a powerful reminder of why we must protect these incredible creatures.

How to get there? From Cebu City you take a 6 hour bus from the Northern Bus Station all the way to Maya Daanbantayan ferry terminal, from there it’s only a 45 minute boat ride to Malapascua.

There are a lot of diveshops around town and at the beach to choose from. We dived with @malapascuaexotic diveresort and had the most amazing time ✨

This is the largest religious complex ever built by humans, and every column, carving, and sunlit corridor tells a story that’s over 4,000 years in the making.

Walking through the Great Hypostyle Hall feels like stepping into a forest made of stone — 134 towering columns, each one whispering secrets of pharaohs, festivals, and forgotten ceremonies. And when the light hits just right? Pure magic.

We chased moments instead of things… and somehow the year turned into pure magic. ✨

From turquoise waterfalls in the Philippines to drifting quietly beside sharks in the deep blue, this year reminded us what it feels like to really be alive. We dove under waves, breathed in salt air, and felt that mix of fear, wonder, and total freedom that only the ocean can give. 🪸🤿 We wandered through the bustle of Istanbul, where history hums through every street and every cup of tea feels like a story. Then there were the closer-to-home adventures too — windswept days on Ameland, laughing with sand between our toes, and nights wrapped in that peaceful island silence.

This year wasn’t just about going far; it was about building something of our own too. Piece by piece, screw by screw, we built our camper — dreaming about every road it will someday take us on. And then… we actually took her out for her first real adventure across the border to Belgium. No grand plan, just us, the road, and that feeling of “we made this life ourselves.” ✨🥰

Looking back, every place, every mile, every sunrise and sweaty backpack day added up to something bigger — gratitude. For the world, for each other, for the ability to explore, to feel small and yet incredibly connected.

Here’s to saying yes more often. To diving into the unknown. To choosing wonder. To building, creating, moving, and living with intention. And to everything we haven’t even dreamed of yet. Because if this year taught us anything… it’s that the best chapters are still ahead. 🌍🩵

✨🍚 What if travel wasn’t just about seeing new places — but tasting them?

Swipe through and explore a farm-to-table cooking class in Ubud, where food becomes a window into Balinese culture. 🌿

Our day began at a local morning market, where vendors proudly shared spices, herbs and produce grown through generations. From fragrant lemongrass to bright chilies and fresh coconut — every ingredient held a story.

Next stop: the farm. Walking through the fields, we learned how cassava, turmeric and pandan grow, and why ingredients here are treated with deep respect.

Cooking wasn’t rushed — it was mindful. No timers, no rules, just intuition and tradition. And when we finally tasted our dishes overlooking rice fields, everything felt richer — in flavor and meaning.

Rolling through one of Belgium’s coolest landscapes ✨

We spent the afternoon longboarding through Terhills National Park, chasing sunshine and winding paths surrounded by water and green hills. ☀️
What used to be a mining site is now one of Belgium’s most beautiful nature spots — and the ride up to the viewpoint? Totally worth the leg burn. 😅 The view from the top was unreal!

Moments like these remind us why we love slow travel — just exploring, no rush, no plan, just good vibes. 💛
