Storytime: I was there in December on a solo trip, exploring this historic walking area (outside) when I met two friends who were out on a leisurely stroll. I was asking them about the area and we got into a cool convo about traveling as I told them I was there alone on a solo vacation. Found out they recently had moved to Toronto from China, and we instantly became friends. They wanted to hang out with me which I thought was so sweet and together we explored the inside of Brick Works building. They took my picture (see slide 1 & 3) I not only enjoyed my time with them, but it felt very special to connect with them there on that day. And we are still connected to this day. 🙂

this is how Danielle learns that Tyler can do a one handed cartwheel in the middle of Mount Hood wilderness 🤯🌲

we were just hiking towards Tamanawas Falls 💦

taking in all the old growth sights and colors 🍁

and then Tyler just begins doing tricks 🤸‍♂️

Did anyone expect him to do a cartwheel 🤯

and one handed in the middle of the Forrest 😱

like this is a completely normal thing to do on a Saturday deep in the Oregon forest 🦅

I have been with this man through multiple countries multiple festivals multiple states and multiple life experiences & I did not know this about him until this exact moment on this exact trail 😳

a one handed cartwheel just sitting there in his skill set & he's been telling me he could do one I just didn't believe him 😆

the shoe shot versus the view 🦅

Tamanawas Falls Trail on Mount Hood 🏔️

one of those hikes where you show up not fully knowing what you're about to experience and then the first footbridge over Hood River appears and suddenly you completely understand why people keep coming back here 😌

the old growth forest 🌲

we do the shoe shot at every trailhead now because it marks the beginning of something and this one deserved to be marked 🥾 also love our Merrill boots 🫶

if you're in Portland and you haven't done this hike yet please hear us when we say go❣️ esp now that we're in fall 🍁

it's about 1.5 hours from the city 🌆

completely worth every minute of the drive 🌲

the waterfalls at the end are stunning but honestly the trail itself is the whole experience ⭐︎

some concerts are just concerts. and then some nights rearrange something in you permanently. 🥲

getting to meet DEVO in Ridgefield with my dad before watching them perform live at the Cascades Amphitheater alongside The B-52s 🦞 was a night I'll never forget.

my dad is the reason I know who DEVO is. the reason certain songs feel like timecapsules.

forty-plus years of music that refused to be anything but itself. still sharp, still strange, still completely undeniable. the crowd of course knew every word and every note by heart.

thank you DEVO for the music, the memories, and for being exactly who you are since 1973. ♦️

Feb 4 - 19th 2025 nomading in ATX 🥟 featuring our first day in Austin together, exploring graffiti and other forms of art, trying frozen chocolate bananas, seeing what makes Austin weird ie a man riding a white horse to get coffee 🐴 delish bar food finds, rainbow roads, and some lattes ☕️

Troll sculpture spotted on a neighborhood stroll, spotting the red bird outside of our short-term stay, getting our nails done together 💅, finding a coffee shop in skate store 🛹, exploring Clarksville, discovering the weird gas station loaded with tons of THC drinks outside of the Concourse project and meeting vendor owners like @ricocreations inside the venue 🎶

Visiting Barton Springs for the first time, Tyler getting me to try some extra extravagant chicken biscuit, finding a cute Chinese restaurant, Tyler flexing lol, noticing the moon and really cool wheat paste ups 🎨

Tyler got us matching akimbo sweats, no cool, graffiti and wheat paste ups and sticker slaps, starting my lagree joruney at a spot that also had goat climbers 🐐 discovering @twohandsrestaurant and their delicious fries

Turning into a lagree girlie 💪 seeing funny pieces of art 🤣 going to a Valentine's Day warehouse rave 🌹 doggspotting

Reuniting with Cupcake my dear Texas Eclipse fam 🫶 appreciating sticker slips that I find another mixed media 🤣🧯 more pictures from the Valentines warehouse rave, the start of a random photo shoot Tyler and I did ourselves ❣️

sometimes it's just a pit stop on an island in Iceland at golden hour and two words that made everything stop for a second...

probably should've put our stuff the world and melt with you over this video lol

we were just driving through Iceland on our way to Iceland Eclipse Festival off the Golden Circle when Danielle found Hrútey Island in Blanda River; the smallest island on the longest river in Iceland 🏝️ not that kind of island though lol

Pristine waters accompanied by a small but mighty Forrest gated by a metal bridge 🌳 if you're lucky like us, you might even get to explore it alone 👀

Worth a van stop when you need to stretch your legs 🦵

one of our favorite camp at Burning Man is BMIR 94.5 FM and if you know you know 📻

there is a feeling of excitement that you can't contain when thinking about tuning into a radio station in the middle of the Nevada desert and hearing ads for other camps and all the shenanigans that are going in and around the playa 🛝

This is where burners tune in to hear all the latest news on traffic around the gates, weather, and everything needed 👂

camps + people advertise their events and offerings and vibes and even activities in the most creative unhinged hilarious and genuinely brilliant ways you've ever heard &
the creativity is so contagious it just fuels your imagination 😸

BMIR 94.5 FM is one of those Burning Man institutions that reminds you this entire city was built by people who said yes to every creative impulse they ever had and the radio station is no different. It's led by its own participants 🫶

we listened while planning our drive which helped us we've out of the 28 hours of standstill traffic. There was during the beginning of 2025 and instead we only had a three hour wait time 👀

and every single time it made us feel more connected to the community is Black Rock City 🏜️

tuning in from the default world during BM week and it's not the same but it helps when you're homesick 🖤

((( O ))) live at Lincoln Hall January 2025 got to reunite with Nicole who I met previously at June's last show at Sleeping Village May 2024, Nicole got to help design the stage 💐

Reunited with Kassi at Mott Street where she got the lucky dragon shot 🐉 discovered local artist Fingy who opened up for ((( O ))), Tyler flew in and I began showing him some of my stomping grounds like Dark Matter Coffee and Green Mill not pictured in this slide but slide over 🛝

biking through deep playa at Burning Man on our neon e-bikes feeling like we rode straight into Tron 🔥🚲✨

the creativity out there is something your brain genuinely struggles to process in real time because every direction you look there is something that shouldn't exist and does exist and is more beautiful and chaotic and alive than anything the default world has ever offered you 🐉

we kept riding and kept finding more 🔥

fire and neon and light structures and mutant vehicles and humans who built entire worlds out in the desert just because they could 🌉

deep playa at night on an e-bike is something everyone deserves to experience at least once if you feel called out to the desert 🌪️
