It does feel like that though! Maybe it just means I need to start doing some of @travyjsmith workouts to be better equip to handle reclaiming!

I was so stressed for this market I dreamt about it all night at works up at 5 am with no chance of going back to bed! All in all it was really successful but I defiantly learned a lot.

1. Make a list! I kept double checking and adding thing and felt like I was just guessing about what I needed… which I was, and in the end I forgot price tags 😂. Now I have a basic list of what to bring so I know the essentials are covered!
Comment market and I’ll send it to you, make sure your following so it doesn’t get lost!

2. Plan some photos! I started feeling so anxious and like a little imposter for being at the market I forgot to take a moment to take some photos and celebrate that I actually followed through! I snapped this photo quickly right at the end before packing up.

3. As my first mug sold I realized I had no photos of what I brought! Next time I would love to have nice photos of all the mugs so I know what sold quickly and so I can remember how and what I made.

4. I was sharing a table either @ian_clements_ which made it a lot more fun to have someone to talk to and be there with!

5. I got so stressed out that I only told two people that I was planning on joining the market. The more I promote myself the more I’m really learning that me doing this isn’t forcing anyone’s hand. No one is being held hostage to get something from me, and telling people I’m doing a market doesn’t change that. It only allows people who want someone to know how they can get it. Or that’s what I keep telling myself while freaking out 😅

A bit of practice and I think these bigger ones are getting a little easier! I’m really happy with how this turned out! Still have to cut her open to see how it’s looking inside.

I love being able to test out a new mug!

Not that I actually drink from all of them, but if there is a new shape or I’m trying out a raw clay I think it’s nice to hold a finished piece and make sure it feels nice in your hands!

Recommendations needed!

Life doesn’t always go to plan and pottery is no exception! I’m not 100% sure what went wrong but if anyone has any recommendations please chime in!
