If you’re new here:

We’re Ashlee + Holly & Tuukka✨
(Our truck is not pictured but her name is Betty White)

We bought our camper off Facebook marketplace just over a year ago; did some renovations, and left Connecticut November 1, 2025 🚐

We got engaged in New Orleans ⚜️

Spent some time in California during the holidays🎄, drove to Florida for March 🌴 and then was hired for a work camping position just outside of Zion National Park May 1 🏜️

We absolutely love our home on wheels, but we’ve also been thankful to have these last two months creating relationships and working while on the road.

99% of the time it is me (Ashlee) posting and interacting on here but 1% of the time Holly does help me with comments and engagement if I am driving!

My personal account had over 6k followers but I wanted to experiment with a new account, super grateful to each and every one of you we’ve met along the way!

Thank you for following our journey; and if we haven’t met on the road yet; I hope we do soon! 👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏻🐕

The Wave feels like another planet 🪐

Hiking this famous trail in Utah/Arizona is quite the miracle (if you ever get to) only 64 people are able to hike it a day; 48 of those are advanced permit holders meaning they applied 4 months prior…which leaves the lucky 16 daily lottery winners - us!

I am still in awe…

Long over due; but tour our camper!
We purchased a 2010 Jayco Jayflight G2 off Facebook a year ago - renovated it; and this is what we call home.

It’s been a learning experience along the way; but ripping out the dinette to put in a coffee bar, updating the office which was previously bunkbeds, and making everything out own is something we wouldn’t trade for a new cookie cutter layout.

6 AM hike with us to Cathedral Rock in Sedona

There’s something magical about starting the day before the rest of the world wakes up…not to mention before working 3-11pm that night.

Cathedral Rock— one of Sedona’s most iconic landmarks.

The trail may be short, but don’t let the mileage fool you… there are steep, rocky sections!

They say dogs are discouraged from hiking this trail (but allowed)… Tuukka was ready for the challenge. (she loves rock scrambles.)

She took on the trail like a pro, and honestly, everyone was so impressed with her! She does have two extra legs than we do!

From the rocky climb to the incredible views, she stayed right with us and showed us that adventure is always better with your best friend by your side.

🐾 Tuukka-approved
🥾 Steep & rocky terrain
🌵 Iconic Sedona views

Of course, always know your dog’s abilities, bring plenty of water, and check current trail and park rules before bringing your pup along.

📌 Save this for your Sedona adventure — and give Tuukka some love in the comments!

8:30am vlog style hike with us to Birthing Cave in Sedona!✨

One of Sedona’s most unique hikes — and the views at the end are absolutely worth the journey.

Come along as we make our way through the red rocks and desert landscape to Birthing Cave - a beautiful natural alcove tucked into the Sedona wilderness.

The trail is relatively short, but there are some rocky and uneven sections along the way, so definitely bring good hiking shoes and plenty of water!

And then you reach the cave…

Standing inside the massive red-rock formation and looking out over the surrounding landscape is one of those “how is this real?” Sedona moments.

✨ Soak up the magic of Sedona

📌SAVE this hike for your next Sedona trip!

Would you add Birthing Cave to your Sedona itinerary?

Autumn is our favorite season…who knew it could be so great in Utah! We’re used to going to Vermont/Connecticut/Massachusetts for the Fall leaves and scenic chairlift rides.

@sundanceresort is the place to be if you’re in Utah right now…the colors are stunning. Nothing says October like the crisp air and colored leaves.

About a 40 minute trip to the top changing a few different chairlifts, stay as long as you’d like; and then enjoy even better views on the way back down. 🍁

A must do for all your Provo/SLC trips during the month of October 🍂

🍟🌵The McDonald’s that doesn’t look like every other McDonald’s…

If you’re exploring Sedona, there’s one unexpected stop you have to see: the only McDonald’s in the world famous for its turquoise/teal arches. @tealarches

When this location was being developed in the early 1990s, Sedona officials wanted businesses to blend into the city’s distinctive red-rock landscape rather than use the bright, traditional yellow signage. McDonald’s originally proposed its classic look, but after discussions with the city, the iconic arches became turquoise instead. The restaurant opened in 1993.

And somehow, that little change turned an ordinary fast-food restaurant into a Sedona landmark.

Today, the location is still serving the familiar McDonald’s menu, but people from all over stop to grab a photo with those unmistakable teal arches against the red rocks.

Even the original arches have a story — after they were replaced in 2015, the originals were donated to the Sedona Heritage Museum, where they became part of the location’s history.

📍McDonald’s — West Sedona
2380 W State Route 89A

Sometimes the best travel stops are the ones you never expected to be an attraction. 🌵🍟

Would you stop here for the photo? 👀
