I did a deep dive into tides, and thought I would share the simple version in case you had wondered about it too 😂🐳 Tiny science from a tinier island. One thing to take away is that our oceans are connected on this planet we all call home ✌️🌏🩵 missing the @roatanclearwater family!

Roatan, August 2025. I'm planning out my next dive trip back to Roatan and emptying my Ig360 of old footage.

My favorite dive spots are all the swim through canyons, it's a great bouyancy skills test and you can see all these small shrimp defending their territory and coexiwting with other ones. Really cool! taken in Roatan, Honduras by @roatanclearwater

Before getting involved in community projects, it is important to take time to learn, listen, and better understand the culture, environment, history, and daily life of the island.

Clearwater's cultural snorkeling experience is an opportunity to connect more deeply with Roatán beyond what can be seen on the surface.

Today, the team had the honor of having lunch in Crawfish Rock, and learning about the natural beauty and what it provides for the people.

Meaningful leadership and community engagement begin with understanding, respect, and connection.

Today, on Earth Day, feels like the right moment to share a glimpse into a project that meant a lot to me.

Over the past months, I had the opportunity to travel across the islands, working closely with the team from the Bay Islands Conservation Association @bica.hn while producing their corporate film. I spent time with each of their three chapters, out in the field, following their work inside the Bay Islands National Marine Park- from long days under the sun, extreme wind and rain, and the most unpredictable conditions at sea.

What stayed with me the most wasn’t just what they do, but how they do it. It’s not glamorous, and most of the time it goes unnoticed. But it’s driven by a deep care for the reefs, the wildlife, and the future of these islands. They do a lot with very little- and they do it with a level of passion that’s honestly hard not to admire.

Being able to witness that up close was both humbling and inspiring. It made me reflect on how much effort goes into protecting something many of us take for granted.

I can only hope that through this corporate film, I was able to do justice to their work and the cause they stand for.

The 2025 Islanders for Change generation from Crawfish Rock wrapped up their program in the best way possible.

Islanders for Change allows young islanders to learn about marine conservation, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their commitment to protecting their natural resources. An experience that inspires, educates, and empowers.

They shared the day with the first generation of Islanders for Change from Sandy Bay (2023), a special moment that shows how this community of young conservation leaders continues to grow.

The celebration included a dive with @roatanclearwater and @sundiversroatan, a dinner, and a diploma ceremony to honor everything they've accomplished.

Proud of each and every one of them. The islands' future is in great hands. 💚

La generación 2025 de Islanders for Change de Crawfish Rock cerró su programa de la mejor manera.

Islanders for Change brinda a jóvenes isleños la oportunidad de aprender sobre conservación marina, desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo y fortalecer su compromiso con la protección de sus recursos naturales. Una experiencia que inspira, educa y empodera.

Compartieron el día con la primera generación de Islanders for Change de Sandy Bay (2023), un momento especial que muestra cómo esta comunidad de jóvenes líderes en conservación sigue creciendo.
