Why do you think the water bottle gets squeezed, but the potato doesn’t? 🤔

Because the water bottle contains air, while the potato is mostly solid.

As we descend, the surrounding water pressure increases. The air inside the bottle is compressible, so its volume decreases and the bottle gets squeezed.

The potato, however, is made mostly of water and solid tissue, which are essentially incompressible at recreational diving depths. So it keeps its shape.

In just 2 hours, 32 amazing people came together and collected an incredible 130 kg of trash from West End!

Every piece we remove makes a difference for our reef, our ocean, and our community.

A huge thank you to @bica.hn and their amazing youth group, Islanders for Change, for bringing so much energy and passion to the cleanup! 💪💚

And a special thank you to @wastefreeoceans for supporting our efforts and helping us keep our oceans cleaner.

There’s something truly special about seeing a green turtle gliding effortlessly through the crystal-clear waters of Roatan.

Green turtles are an important part of healthy marine ecosystems. As they feed on seagrass and algae, they help maintain healthy habitats and contribute to the balance of our underwater world.
