these past couple days have been the weirdest moments of my lifeNot only did I lose one of my all favorite artists but I lost someone I was blessed enough to be able to call my brother. I first met Stacy at a local hardcore show in 2018, this dude looked like the most rockstar motherfucker I’ve ever seen, I saw him in the mosh pit fucking dudes up. He looked like he made music and I had just gotten into producing and wanted to ask him if he wanted to work but I was scared and ended up not doing it. Couple months later I found his music and was blown away. I hit him up tryna work but I wasn’t really that good just yet. I later saw his whole career blow up before my eyes and I wasn’t surprised, it was inspiring asf. I wanted to work on a song with him so bad and then universe heard me and ended up getting me in a session with him. I was so nervous and thought I was fuckin up lol. To my surprise he chose me to be his main man and I was just so insanely happy. I never brought up my own music to him but he ended up seeing a show flyer I had posted and ended up pulling up and honestly that night is still one of the best nights of my life, he was almost mad at me for not showing him my before hand. He even came up and starting singing songs with us and showed his love, it felt like a dream. When it came time for him to tour he asked us to be his band and ended up taking us across the world and making all of our wildest dreams come true.And for that, I’ll never be able to repay him. Stacy I would be lying if I said this was a complete surprise, I knew you were in a dark place and I really tried everything in my power to help you brother. I wish I could’ve done more. I’m sorry I failed you. The world is gonna be a much more lonelier place without you here. Without the ability to call you or hang out when I need it most, With me thinking about everything we had planned to slowly realize they are just gonna be dreams of the past, and when from now on anytime I hear your name it’ll only be a memory from better days.
