Every year it gets harder and harder to describe the emotions and gratitude experienced after the whirlwind that is @coalesce_festival.

Our fourth edition welcomed back our beautiful community of people and plenty of new recruits, alongside guests flying in from all over the world, including people I met in passing over the weekend from Canada, USA, Australia, Germany and Croatia - a really poignant reminder into how far we’ve come in the space of three calendar years, over four events as a festival.

Plans for Coalesce Festival’s fifth edition are well underway and we’re committed to upping the levels across the board again in 2027 - A showcase and celebration of the UK’s underground heritage and the people who’ve contributed to the culture that we all enjoy to this day.

Special love, shouts and respect goes out to my brother; mad enough to keep doing this, but also dedicated to keep going with me; Seb @brink_tl, as well as to our amazing key players and support: Alex, Sam, Joe, Steph, Paris, Kate, Elicia, Albi, Danny, Dom, Jonny, Ben and Nick, Three Pools crew, Selin, our build & break, production, media (who have supplied most of these amazing photos I’ve used), welfare and volunteer crews, Wayne for managing the festival’s security ops, the SMs and ALs and lastly to every artist, musician, presenter or activity lead who contributed and represented Coalesce through any form of performance or art-form over the three days - We salute you all.

Outlook Origins 2025- still the bass music festival Mecca of the World. This was my eighth Outlook, but I didn’t capture many moments, as I was far too busy letting my hair down and getting lost in the music that I’ve regained most of my love and passion for, having felt a lot evaporate in recent times. The experience of rediscovering the joy in what you’ve loved to the core for c.17 years feels quite nice… Thank you @outlookorigins.

I’ve taken an extended break from doing much musically for a while, but couldn’t turn down an @alternate_uk boat party invitation this year - thank you @rishi_o_o_, it meant a lot.
Appreciation going out to @viveksystem, @fixate_music, @spectralmusicuk, @gyrofield for representing + @envy.music_ & @azifm_ on the spectacular substitute duties 👏🫡

Love to absolutely everyone I caught up with, vibed with, danced with, bumped into, fell-over laughing with, or met for the first time.

Simply the best. Glastonbury Festival.
Feeling very blessed to have been part of the madness this year, having been gifted a ticket a couple of days before gates - Love and shouts to Joe 💛

I saw my mates Dan and Laura get engaged live on the West Holts, followed by a conveyor belt of moments with friends, old and new, to the soundtrack of insanely good music throughout, whilst racking up a new Glasto record of 200k steps in the process.

10/10 Wedding of two of my dearest from over the years: @sambinary & @sophiemlillywhite.

These two met at one of my earlier Alternate events back in 2016 and have been inseparable ever since.

Welcoming myself back to the real world today, after the 11 days and nights of @coalesce_festival build, delivery and break, with a heart and rested head full of love and inspiration for the movement.

Year 3 was easily our biggest step forward as a festival, with the general ops involving 3x more people than previously - For context; when it comes to Coalesce, Seb @brink_tl and I have never been great at accepting or even seeking benevolent help, but ahead of this year our stubborn ethos changed and unsurprisingly, all aspects of the event were delivered sustainably and with a massively increased level of diligence. It would only be right to give honourable mentions, salutes and loves to the key people who made this mini evolution possible: @dj.lutsu, @kate_hatcher, @frankofab, @voices_in_your_shed, @jonny.scolari, @ddpearse, Josh B, @deviantdnb and @billiam_mtf, to our new event/operations managers @stephelnorb, @artemis.dnb and Paris, through to the oustanding volunteer team of utter legends who worked on a variety of different projects. Also a special mention to the long term team player and everlasting support that is @shaddows__.

Basically, this year I’ve learnt that Coalesce Festival, as a community festival for like-minded underground culture-obsessed people, would fall over without the community of people who have helped propel ourselves forward this year.

A commitment to making 2026 even better is just around the corner. Love ❤️

We’ve been attending and DJing at @outlookfestival @outlookorigins since 2011, as well as hosting numerous ‘launch’ parties in Bristol, Reading and Bath over the years with artists such as Shy FX, Calibre, Goldie, Oneman, Flava D, Zinc, Chloé Robinson (fka Barely Legal), Strategy and Plastician to name a few.

Outlook Festival has always been a bit of ‘Mecca’ to us - It was always THE festival to attend every year. It inspired us so much, that we’ve now even started our own festival (@coalesce_festival).

It’s a genuine honour to be invited to host a Saturday prime-time boat party with some real musical dons on the Adriatic Sea!
@fixate_music, @gyrofield, @skepticaluk, @spectralmusicuk, V.IV.E.K 🫡

Tickets for the Alternate boat party sold out in under 24 hours, but it’s not too late to attend the main party- They go up to the next tier next week.
