@capeepic - The race that truly measures it all!!Many have said the toughest edition, and was definitely the toughest of the four I’ve done. This years’ race was also the deepest mens pro field in history, so bettering my best GC position was going to prove difficult if not impossible. Power partner @justin_hornsby and I finished 75th overall and 10th in masters and left it all out there. Thanks to the Rohatyn Group for the support, and my wife @tinipearse for holding the fort and supporting me when it was less than an ideal time to prep for a race, given Sach was born in January.Also a huge thanks to my incredible coach @mike_posthumus for your support, guidance and managing my time constraints, and last but definitely not least to @shimanomtb and Stephen Meltzer for your unwavering support.Memories made to last a lifetime!!

Comrades Marathon 2026. It’s called the Ultimate Human Race for a reason!! Comrades is equal parts magical and brutal. For 86km’s, you see resilience,grit,courage,kindness and determination everywhere you look.I absolutely loved the day!! As a proud South African,it’s a race that showcases everything remarkable about this country and our spirit. Could say I’m happy with how the day went,but super excited to see what I can do next year to get that sub 7:30 Silver medal,having done it for the first time.
