Recent moments of gastro joy. God knows I love all that comes with food. The picking the cleaning the frying the baking, the chopping, the slicing, the boiling the stirring the flipping the folding the whizzing and blitzing….. but most of all I like the serving and the sharing. Even the dirtiest most mundane bits of cooking are enriching and worthwhile. To cook and to prepare a meal for others is one of life’s greatest joys and privileges and I shall do it as much as I am able until the day I cannot. And at that point I will concentrate all my efforts into becoming a sot and a coiffure. by @roballison81

92 hours in Budapest. Notes:1. Robert Capa museum is closed on Mondays2. It annoys me when establishments use symbols to denote male and female toilets.3. Budapest is architecturally, culturally and aesthetically incredible3(a). Im embarassed how little I knew about Hungary4. How many overpaid execs signed off the billboard of a man with a finger stuck so deeply into his own ear? 5. Sauerkraut stuffed pickle is the next big thing6. Paprika is colloquially referred to as Strong Steven7. Time Out food Hall Budapest is incredible8. I can be logical8.1 @eatingwithtod has totally passed me by. And that’s ok.8.1(a).
