Resort skiing is dead to me. 🚫⛷️🙅‍♂️
•
A few years back, I joined the team @snogobike full time. While at first, it was simply a fun job and cool opportunity to lead something exciting in the industry, I came to realize it is much much more.

Skibiking provides a wild new exhilaration for me without any of the pain skiing caused me. For years, I grunted through knee, foot, and back pain to become an advanced skier. A big crash or impact would put me out for weeks. I can hardly run anymore at 38 years old. Fortunately this pain led me to find mountain biking which has become my new passion, and a passion that translates perfectly. ❤️🏔️

The bike has allowed me to uncover lines and ways down the mountain I never would have looked at on skis. I can pinball down blues and blacks and have the time of my life. There’s no need to find cliffs and chuck my body 30 ft into the air to find fun and joy. Powder doesn’t HAVE to be fresh and it’s even more fun. It’s actually so much fun, I’m struggling to comprehend what is happening in my brain on runs like this. Moguls turn into pillows and gullies turn into endless berms of slash and drifting on repeated levels that make you feel like you’ve been riding moto at a pro level since you were 3.

I’m still beside myself as I digest what I am feeling about the opportunity for ski bikes in the world of snow sports. The world appears to be noticing too. If you’ve been following along, we’ve been producing content that is more viral than the rest of the industries largest names like @xgames @burton @shaunwhite and @mikaelashiffrin @freerideworldtour COMBINED. Fun Fact: videos I produced are sitting at 88 Million reached in the last 60 days. 📈

One thing is for sure. I read emails and social posts everyday about how much ski bike riders love the experience on the bikes. We are changing lives one by one and I know I’m not the first to say it has changed mine, but it’s time to say that it has.

Life update. Starting a new chapter this winter season. ❄️⛷️🚲 by @robaseltine

It’s been a dream. 🌬️❄️ I could never have imagined moving on from this company but here we are...

Thank you 🙏 @obedmarrder @cwagz15 and everyone else who has been part of this ride. You know who you are.

Swipe to the end to see how it all started.

Fall on the crest trail from my 📲 this past weeked. 🍁 Park City ➡️ Canyon side MTB ride.
This is in sequential order to take you along that route. Views from the Canyons side across Big Cottonwood are some of the best. by @robaseltine

Best consistent dirt riding we’ve had here in Park City in a good while.

Bumped into @n8secondride and @salty_mtb in the parking lot and went up for another. by @robaseltine

Truth is out. I feel too in love with this sport. I started a new rental shop open this winter in Park City. ➡️ @harwoodskibikes by @robaseltine

When in Whistler… 🇨🇦

Upped my biking several levels yesterday following a crew of heavy hitters. The trails and vibes were so good 👊. Love the camaraderie, support, lack of ego or whatever you want to call it.

Thanks for a killer day @reedboggs @maxlangille @anthonymessere @lukas_trutschmann & Cisco ! Little bro is 1/3 my age and towed me into my first on/off feature. 😂🤘 by @robaseltine

All I wanted was to see my boy catch a trout today and I got my wish and so much more. ✨🎣 Great outing with my crew. 🫶 Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there 👊! by @robaseltine

Never thought I’d throw trap into a rafting cut but here we are. I suppose it was just that epic. 👊 @oars_rafting down the Yampa. Check out some more images in my last post 📸 by @robaseltine

Another trip with @oars_rafting in the books. I’m so glad I had the chance to float this section of the Yampa. I had far underestimated its beauty and significance. Unfortunately, we experienced a super low snowpack out here this winter and due to diminished water flows, this section closed for the season shortly after this trip.

There’s always next year and I hope you get the chance to go. #yampariver by @robaseltine

No body misses grabs and throws a huntony like me! 🥳🫣 My final day on snow was a vibe and crew was sending. Thanks @snowbird ! 🙏 by @robaseltine
