Had an awesome week at EMS World Expo. A full schedule of classes, getting hands on the newest equipment coming down the track, and meeting some deep wealths of knowledge has made this trip a rewarding experience. I’m so fortunate to be with a department that invests in its people. taken in Orlando, Florida by @robbie_cutrell

Fight camp was going great until 3 weeks out. I pulled my back during sparring, the next day I developed a staph infection on my knee and then got sick with a respiratory infection that night. The next 2 weeks in camp were our peak weeks so I told coach and he said if you can’t go 100% a week from now on Monday, we got to pull from fight. I put everything into our lord, our God, Yahweh’s hands. Monday came, I was 90% recovered from the injury, had some residual lung butter but great aerobic capacity, and completely over the skin infection. He put me back on track and it reminded me to recenter it from myself to him. He placed this love of the sport in me and has constantly used it as a conduit for spiritual growth. Fight day came, everything we planned to do in the fight happened, my opponent’s and my health were protected, and I got to taste victory. Big thanks to the great group of teammates, coach, and family that supported the endeavor and all the friends that showed support before and after the fight, it really means so much to me. by @robbie_cutrell

Good thing about First Due Energy is it doesn’t mess with the glycogen depletion of the weight cut and gives that little pick me up to finish fight week strong. Saturday cannot come sooner. by @robbie_cutrell

The team at First Due Energy was hard at work today! Half of the team was supporting robbie_cutrell at his professional MMA debut, while the other half was supporting the DC IFBB Pro/Am body building competition.

Everyone’s got a First Due and we are always there to serve those that are Built for the Bold no matter the location

It’s been an awesome shift here at the firehouse so far. Went to church as a crew, went out to breakfast, and came back to do a Murph workout with some friends and family, and then the boys did some kick boxing pad work to help me stay ready for my upcoming fight. Afterwards, we kicked back and taste tested @firstdueenergy ‘s newest batch. While most days we don’t get much time to relax, the lord blessed us today. Now I look forward to dialing in these last two weeks before I step into the cage at @barfightsfc on June 6th. by @robbie_cutrell
