When you only have 100 days to build a place in Nashville, every decision has to pull its weight.

Murals became one of the fastest ways to inject personality and storytelling into the venue. Along with helping design the space, I created a few pieces inspired by Alan’s music, turning songs people have heard a thousand times into something guests could experience, interact with, and share.

This one was inspired by “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow.” It was a lot of fun figuring out how to take a song and turn it into something people could walk up to instead of just hearing on the radio.

Enjoyed working with @robbiegoldsmith and the @officialalanjackson team on bringing this place to life.

Appreciate @anthonybillups and his crew for bringing these designs to life on the walls.

Blessed, Honored and Grateful to be trusted to build @silverbellywhiskey for the bossman, Alan Jackson. This weekend topped off a ton of incredibly hard work by a bunch of people to send a legend off the right way. An incredible opening of our Distillery & @alanjacksonmuseum that was completed in less than 100 days and a finale show that will go down as one of the largest concerts in Nashville history. I’ve always loved the vintage animated neon signs in Las Vegas. There’s something magical about them. The two-step animations. Tons of personality.

When I started designing the arrival experience for Silverbelly Whiskey Distillery & Museum, I wanted to bring a little of that spirit to this sign.

It tells the story of whiskey, music, Alan’s laid back personality, with a heritage Americana vibe that feels completely authentic.

From concept to reality, this was one of many storytelling pieces that came together as part of the project in under 100 days.

“Just trying to be somebody…. Chasin’ that Neon Rainbow, Livin’ that Honky Tonk dream.”

The biggest project yet. This has been the dream for a while, but on 6/25 we will finish up a 100 day build out of a 15,000sq ft, 1890 built building downtown Nashville for the new home of @silverbellywhiskey and @alanjacksonmuseum right before 60,000 people come the Nashville from all over the world for Alan’s final concert ever. I have documented the entire process and will be sharing it all soon! Massive shoutout to everyone who has made it possible (more on them soon).
