Oh what great LOVE the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called Children of God.

This past week had the honor to serve at Beautiful Feet Ministries in Fort Worth TX, it was an amazing time reflecting on, receiving, and sharing the love of the Father.

Sunday, Johnny Buckner shared on the story of Zaccheaus with a fresh perspective of how the love and intentionality of the Father was shown through Jesus to restore and redeem Zaccheaus. Despite “religious leaders” accusing him, and speaking down about him and his past; Jesus saw Zaccheaus, as he was hiding up high in a tree. Jesus called him by his name (had never met him) and wanted to spend time with him. Zacchaeus then was moved to repentance as a result of this! And Jesus gave Him Salvation! Luke 19:9 It’s sooo simple and we complicate it!

Go read about it, surrender and run to Jesus, and DON’T Look back! It has taken me a long time to realize we don’t have to hide away from Him based on our past or shame, and just hope to get a glimpse of Him; we get to KNOW Him, and be KNOWN by the Father! There is no shame or fear! He wants to know us, and calls out our names & God the Father’s arms are open wide to bring healing and salvation. It is His Kindness that leads men to repentance! The Table- “a piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs, and that can be used for such purposes as eating, writing, working, or playing games.”

As well as the place the Family of God is invited to come together to encounter and celebrate Jesus. To take Communion with Him, and experience Him through joy and fellowship with one another.

Thank you Jesus for the simple Invitation to the Table to share with you, & you welcome sinners and tax collectors to join you.

So grateful that while we wait for His return, we get to participate in community “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42

At the Table, we can find encounter, repentance, forgiveness, celebration, and new identity. taken in Starkville, Mississippi by @robbutler24
