This piece finally found a home! I’m over the moon to announce this, i painted it in 2023 and it happened by accident. I was using the canvas as paint was dripping from a different painting I was working on. After moving the other one I noticed a pattern had created itself and as it was still wet I added more paint and let it blend. I finally created what you see here now and this jump started my journey into abstract painting. Having had this painting for the last 2 years, exhibited twice in solo exhibitions, it had a lot of intrigue but never found a home until now. So long buddy, I hope you’re admired everyday. #abstractpainting #abstract #colorfieldpainting #rothko taken in Wales, UK by @robdehaan_
